  1. Indeed...any more than nothing is just plain wrong...
  2. Nah...a bit unkempt for my liking...I like well trimmed topiary
  3. Nice...Makes me want to get a Nismo kit on my Zed! What's that vision of beauty walking behind the car!!?
  4. Just doing the usual browsing, and noticed these: http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.275 ... ry=1410480 I like these, maybe not so much for the Z as they don't seem to go above 18s. But I like the little undercut lip thing..
  5. Some nice setups here...but my god, these make my Koi pond sound cheap!!
  6. I spent the whole day in waiting for them...they turned up at 6pm, I'd have been back from work by then! People seem to only have good things to say about them, I'm looking forward to getting them on. I had a set of 452s on an old MR2 and they lasted longer than the Toyos I ran after them. Also, I think Toyos wear down really quick on FWD cars...my brother had a set on his 190bhp Celica got through the fronts in 4 months!!
  7. Yes mate...special offer!! Getting these fitted tomorrow, just taken the passenger seat out and loaded them up in the car...bit of a squeeze, but I'm quite impressed you can get 4 tyres in.
  8. Going from 245/45s to 255/40s reduces your rolling circumference by 2.43%. Not a huge difference, normally it's recommended to stay within 2.5%...If I was going up to 19s for example, I'd rather be going bigger than smaller on circumference on these cars as the rear tends to sit higher than the fronts so you'd lose a bit of that arch gap. [Edit] Just ran 255/45s through a tyre calculator...they're only 1.33% bigger. Diameter works out about 9mm bigger, 4.5mm less arch gap but will sit 4.5mm higher.
  9. I'd argue the flip-side of that comment...why can't they price clothes like tyres?? Being a small in pretty much everything, I'd be able to get some right bargains compared to more er...'beefy' guys like you Danny!
  10. How odd...your cats are the exact same colours as my two!!
  11. Not for the stock Rays...I'd save such extravagance for a nice set of 19s... im used to the I before E except after C rule! Forgive my foolishness No, no, no...forgive my pedantism!! I think all the I & E rules go out of the window when applied to anything from the continent!!
  12. Not for the stock Rays...I'd save such extravagance for a nice set of 19s...
  13. Camskill! http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 0s557p6215 http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 0s315p6219
  14. Lol, it's not a bong...it's a Shisha Pipe. It's for herbal tobacco, plus you can use vodka in it...mmhmm!! Obviously you could use weed in it, but I'm very much anti-drugs.
  15. If a smoker was to give up smoking 20 a day...they could afford that in about 3 years with their savings...
  16. How so! Awesome tyres He probably thought you had some 'SANTA' tyres on...that's all you can see from your pic
  17. I can do better than that....reduced from £7.5k!! CLICKY
  18. Cheers, that's good to hear...can't wait to get them on now!! No, she actually got in herself...she's the most curious cat ever. And you know how the saying goes....
  19. Just had these delivered, much to the interest of my cats: Falken FK452s in standard Rays sizes, I'm hoping these are going to be a vast improvement on the RE040s I'm running at the moment.
  20. I took it off, as I was following what I'd read in the workshop manual. Much easier than trying to work around it!
  21. That's good to hear Cheers for the comments guys, now I know how easy it is to get the intake plenum off...I'm contemplating polishing or painting it!
  22. Lol...where do you live!? Was this just a totally unprovoked flip of the bird?? I've had mine just over half a year and never had the middle finger.
  23. Yip, just put some in myself today. Send ZMANALEX a PM, he does them at a good price!
  24. I was up bright and early this morning, so decided to take advantage of the good weather and swap my spark plugs. I was planning on doing a step-by-step guide, but as always I got too carried away and had the engine down this far before I knew it: I'm so anal, I've laid the bolts out in the same position they come out of the manifolds: Plug #1 out, compared to new plug...followed by all 6 old plugs: Then I gave her a couple of washes, plus a polish. Skipped the wax for today as I had to get out and watch the footy. Took a couple of pics once done: I hope you like
