  1. The iphone just acts weird...plays a track for a few seconds then skips to next or refuses to play at all. The track listings arent navigatable either. I've resorted to using a 16gb USB stick for the time being which has been great and leave it plugged in all the time. A fix would be great though.
  2. Yep it's one of these, so must be do-able. Left a message on the370z forum too,, but no luck so far. http://www.rsw.ne.jp/z34-at-shift-gate-t.jpg
  3. Thanks Guys. The TSB I think related to the iPhone OS4 not working properly. I think it's this one :- http://www.digitaljersey.co.uk/370zTSB.pdf
  4. You also need another lead. I'd definately recommened giving Sextons a call to check which one you need. I bought the pioneer cable for a 4100DVD and it didn't work and later found out that there was a newer cable. I didn't need an aerial adaptor either.
  5. It's OK, I've hit a snag....how to get the AT gear knob off to be able to get the CF gate cover on
  6. I fitted the motordyne spacer. Really quite easy to do, just follow the instructions step by step. I bought a cycle mechnics torque wrench for torquing the bolts down - just remember that they are inch pounds and not foot pounds and you'll be fine!
  7. Does anyone know how to remove the AT selector shift knob? I fancy one of those RSW carbon covers for the bottom panel but would imagine that the knob needs removing to fit it. I downloaded a PDF workshop manual for the 370z last night but can't seem to find it anywhere. Also, a question that's had me wondering for quite sometime - why is there a red marker on the speedo at 30mph?
  8. 20 mins should be long enough. You just need to loosen off the clips to the front end of the wheel arch liners and then bend them out of the way. I swapped the indicators over to silvervision ones whilst I was in there. Chris wrote a guide that I followed _ http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=105&t=38251
  9. Just ordered the Akrapovic EVO exhaust and tips, EVO-R CF Fang cover and Fujimura rear bumper "diffuser". Does anyone have the link to the RSW website, can't seem to find it on google. I quite fancy a CF insert for the AT transmission circular thingy?
  10. Precisely what I'm planning on doing Not sure what amount (in realistic women's terms) I can get away with though. Don't think she'd be happy with me spending more that £400, so the full Akra system might seem like a bit of a stretch! Already prepared a response though. As I'm getting it direct from Slovenia, I'll make up a story that "it's a cheap european system bought off fleabay for £400" Job done
  11. A 5.83hp increase for a full CBE doesn't seem like much?
  12. £828 for the muffler and £500 for the carbon tail pipe ends
  13. The Akrapovic's are nice too, and you can just the muffler instead of the full CBE bits and bobs. I reckon just the muffler will be a small fortune though, but could always add the other tubing later on when funds allow. The carbon end pipes look
  14. Yeah expensive. Well dont forgot to post pics and vid whichever you go for. It'll be a while before I save the pennies and take the plunge, so will be sticking to a few of the cheaper mods I've got planned for the time being.
  15. No experience on a Z, but I had a Designtek exhaust on my Boxster, which uses a Janspeed outer and reworked internals. Quality was nice enough. The two I have on my shortlist for the 370 are either a Berk CBE or the Borla - both look fairly OEM too. I know Chris has the Stillen, which sounds lovely but personally not a fan of the sticky outty tailpipes.
  16. I had an 05 too, I didn't connect the reversing wire in and it was fine.
  17. I had the same problem with my one that I bought. I tried taking the pins out and putting them directing into the OBD connector - that didn't work either, so you may be wasting your time. I returned it and got a replacement which worked first time.
  18. Thinking of getting the EVO-R fang cover myself in a month or so along with the Fujimura CF bumper cover from Japan. The duty and VAT for you guys is a bit of s stinger, although I guess this just be added into the price even if there was a UK supplier? I reckon it'll be well wrapped though and should survive the post just fine.
  19. Yeah I think mine took a week, ordered on the Friday and hey arrived the following Friday. They were worth the wait though
  20. I got it shipped from Evo-R in the US. It couldn't have been a better fit if they tried, absolutely perfect. I would definetely recommend it! Great.....did you need to remove the bumper to fit it? Says on the website that it screws from insidethe bumper? Im thinking the front fang and rear diffuser on a quartz Z will look
  21. I fitted the Philips 4000K's in the end. Nice and white, but I dont find them that much brighter than the OEM's. Definately a better match for the headlights though.
  22. Love the look with the CF fang cover. Looks like a really nice fit. Where did you source that from?

  24. I used these yesterday for the first time. Working one panel at a time I used one to get the majority of the beading off and the other to finish off with. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/microfibr ... od_84.html
