  4. Good job And does the Bluetooth phone work on the front speakers?
  5. Had to call it a day from sanding tonight as fading sunlight and mozzies put an end to todays session. But i am glad to say i have been keeping my beady eye on the surface to make sure it's absolutely flat. Just got one more area around one of the vents to do and then it's 1200 grit time
  6. doesn't even take a minute to get gear surround out and access the wiring loom, do it properly tomorrow
  7. I think the signal for Bluetooth enabled headunits normally send the signal to the front speakers, as any car will have front speakers with some having rears as an option. easy way to find out is to plug your rears into the front channel and test it out
  8. Attacked it again with 1000 grit today. After weeks and the lacquer fully drying, it turns out i didn't flatten the imperfections enough, so the patches in the very first pic reappeared. So today i took the bonnet off again to do it over again. I have since learnt that my first time sanding was incorrect by using hand only, so this time I am using a block to help and keeping a good eye on flattening every thing down this time round. Sanding continues tomorrow
  9. If your steering wheel buttons work fine then that wire goes nowhere, i think it's to link up with the computer that programmes it
  10. Door card needs to come off as it hooks into the tweeter plate. The tweeter plate itself is held with two popper prongs and the upper corner by the rubber seal, be careful not to snap the top corner. After that it's only two screws and the tweeter is out.
  11. Oh interesting but off topic, I'd like to know how hard it was to fit the upper HU into the cubby, much trouble?
  12. We all tend to agree that JapSpeed is a brand that is to be avoided. Fitment will most likely be an issue (previously had K1 & K2) And if a company claims that it is your car that's bent and not their exhausts, then that just does not put much faith in anything they make. Best avoid and look elsewhere. Just my opinion anyway
  13. Errrr why?? And these a just the ones since the new forum lost a lot of the old threads! Still seems a reasonably popular topic...unfortunately for you lol What he means is... USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!
  14. AFAIK Snow socks only work on snow, but not on snow cleared tarmac. Winter tyres do
