This is not the case any more ICT (now Autoleads) have got a loom which takes the RCA output and converts it for you. Its an all in one loom which does RCA input and has steering wheel control as well If you look at the insutrction for the ICT loom you have bought you should see it will say connect up the RCA connectors to the head unit. You dont happen to have the instructions still do you I seem to have miss placed them! Or if anyone knows where the RCA (phono) connectors plug in, i.e. where the BOSE Amp is...I can try again

Yep the headunit fites up correctly so i dont think its an earthing issue either! even checked the soldering on the joints and it looks fine where were the phono leads?! I didnt see any behind the bose headunit so thought I didnt need to connect any and taht the audio was run through the Harness! If you oculd let me know where the phono leads connect into I think ill have solved my problem

Hi Guys I am currently trying to install my Pioneer D3 into my zed facelift GT, ive got all the parts suggested in this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=19787&hilit=pioneer+d3 and have now got the headunit powering up unfortunatly there is no audio at all... I am not sure why I have 3 connectors in my stock Wiring Harness, when connecting up my headunit the items labeled 1(in red) are being used however the connector labelled 2 (in blue) is not. I have done a test on the Bose headunit...if you connect group 1(red) to the headunit and try to power on then nothing happens...the head unit wont power at all...however when connecting connector 2 (blue) the headunit will fire. I think maybe I am missing some cable or somethin... I cant hear any static from the speakers at all so im sure im not firing up the bose amp...I have connected the blue/white wire from the pioneer harness to the ICT cable as suggested in the link above... if anyone has done this before advice would be much appreciated as I wanted to get this completed today...otherwise ill have to put the bose H/U back in

hey all, a quick question...ive seen a set of wheels that im thinkin about buying....they are an absolute steal but they are 17's! F 17 x 8.0J offset +47mm R 17 x 9.0J offset +47mm Any idea of they will fit over the brembo calipers? I will use them as winter wheels ( i drive 60 miles a day so will burn through my 19's very fast in winter) if they do and keep my nismo's for summer

Im sure you could get a key from ebay and have it cut...I did that for my old car...not sure what you would do with the immobaliser though...maybe move the chip from the old key to the new key... someone thats been around longer will be able to help more

Will this fit a facelift zed?

I was planning on refurbing my LMGT4's myself with some spray cans....but considering I do a 60 mile a day journey that probably isnt going to hold up...so im gonna go for PC instead....crawley isnt to far from me...how much did they charge for all 4 wheels?

where did you get the nismo decals from fella? I have a quick look around the corporate sectino but couldnt see anyone that makes decals etc...

Thanks Ian I think that looks reallly good...the wheels would need to be slightly darker IMHO and the handle looks gold I think I preffer the front indicator totally smoked....looks much cleaner! 3FIDDY - I think ur right...im gonna buy a set of 370z indicators so ill paint the badge on those the same colour before I fit them. Just thought of something....the calipers are going to clash with the wheels...im thinkin black with white lettering or black with bronze lettering would look very very cool

If anyone is good with photoshop could you just edit this pic to have flat bronze wheels, door handles, main headlight projector holder and reflectors(mabe one without the reflector as im not sure about the reflectors) it would be very much appreciated Also did a litle mod today...LED rear numberplate lights and LED DRL's (in bronze ofcourse to set of the theme nicely Thanks

S1HNK your car is lovely I was planning on gettin a Z4M but after i saw your car on here I was sold on a 350 I like the idea of using a metal bar for the reflectors and having LED's in them...I can probably extract the LED's from the spare facelift HID lights ive got at home and put them into the reflector I dont have any decent pics of the car yet...ill take a few and someone thats good with photoshop could make the changes id much appreciate it

Hi All, Finally got my facelift 350z, so its time to start modding me thinks The plan so far is: Respray the following in Flat bronze: Nismo LMGT4's Door Handles Front Reflectors (might use vinyl as it could be a PITA to get a good finish on these) Z badge (might de-badge all together not sure yet) The only bit im not sure about is the haedlights...ive alredy got inners for my facelift set so going to paint them...I was thinking black on all of the plastic bits then flat bronze on the bar thingy's (a solid technical term there ) that are on the projector. Opinions on that look? I was initially going to go black + gold but I think flat bronze would look much better....the plan will eventually be to get the engine bay match 2
