Hey guys So driving to work this morning...I had to go through a fairly deep puddle...me being me and it being 6 am I didnt even think about my CAI! the water was fairly deep I got through the puddle and noticed that when I put my foot down the car being jerky! anything above 2.5k and the car was rocking backwards and forwards like a crack addict in a rehab clinic! So I pulled up to the side turned the engine off for 10 mins had a quick look around the bottom of the filter and could see water in the undertray...first thing that goes through my mind...thank god I put the hydro lock foam mesh thingy in my Nismo CAI! Started the zed after a few mins and it didnt tick over straight away but after a few attempts it fired up...rev'd past 3k and it seem'd fine! Question is what (if anything) can I check to make sure ive not really destroyed the engine? The car was fine for the rest of my journey...took it to 4k after drivign for about 40 mins and it seem'd fine but just want some piece of mind that ive not jsut broken my zed! I am thinking of making the CAI back into a SRI for the rest of winter as I do drive through some country lanes that can flood! advice would be appreciated

Hi all, The first CF Door handle has now been made...pics are attached The handle will be sent over to me in the next few days so I will be able to post up a picture of what it looks like against the door card. This is a CF replacement for the metal insert thats already there...it is stuck on with super glue in that picture as double sided tape would be too thick. Hi Vagelis, I have a pair of Nismo ARBs coming off a Zed in a couple of weeks time. I also have a Nismo S Tune Suspension kit coming off the same car. I would prefer to sell the ARBs and Suspension as one unit but would consider selling the ARBs on there own but only as a pair. Bennett...i used these guys for my LED's on my celica and Zed... http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/automotive-bulbs-c-101.html They are not cheap (each price is per LED, not set) but they last for a verry verrry long time...definetly worth the extra money over cheap ebay stuff

Hi guys, Fitted my nismo intake a month or so ago and had to remove the passenger side bottle that stored all of the fluid so that I could get the intake to fit...however I never actaully tested my washer jets So i need to use them yesterday while driving and no water is coming out! For anyone thats fitted a Nismo intake...did you have to block off some pipes? or do anything specific to keep the washer jets working? Im gonna take the bumper off again this weekend to try and fix it so any suggestions are welcome

Hi guys.... seems to be some confusion over which handle i mean The grab handle on the passenger side door is what I was talking about...i have attached a pic with it highlighted. This will be a CF replacement section for the aluminium thats currently there. I will take a look at the door handles but I dont think they will be easy to do...could potential have them skinned in CF instead of making a fresh set from CF...thoughts?

Hi guys, Just been added to the approved part time traders list I started up a company called stealthy style a month ago...to make parts in CF and fibreglass mainly for the Celica scene as I know it so well, I have also got a few ideas for parts for the 350z that id like to make. The first of which is a CF Door handle cover to replace the stock aluminium one. I am having one made at the moment which should be done by early next week...once I have it ill get pics up for you so see the quality. Just so you can get an idea of the quality of our work...here is a picture of some Carbon Fibre numberplate holders i created for the Celica. Thanks for all the kind words about the pics guys Just got hold of the RAW file so going to pass it to a mate that knows how to photoshop and hes gonna clean up the pic and make the car slightly brighter....ill post an update pics when he gets it to me....would love to have my car in a calendar...had my celica modded a fair bit but no1 ever did a calendar on ccuk and i am like stevie wonder behind a camera

ive got a brand new set of Dunlop SP Max's on the rears...which might not have helped me so much...after walking on the strip its soo sticky that if you leave your trainers planted for more then 10 seconds you are stuck! I can attribute my poor time to a few things...1 not launching the car hard enough only launched at 3.5k rpm and in hinesight i should have launched the car much harder to get it off the line...I also didnt remove anything from the car at all...spare wheel and jack were still in the car! I also have my Nismo Intake in a Short Ram setup which wasnt a smart idea...the engine was piping hot after my second run and the filter was boiling aswell...ill move that down to the wheel arch this week! Overall I only had 3 runs because it was so busy but i improved my time by a good .8 of a second so a few more runs and i should be hitting mid/low 14's! Definetly think a club meet at the pod would be fun...or maybe somewhere not so busy as i was waiting almost and hour at points to get back on the track Thanks for all the compliments...how can i submit a pic for the 2010 calendar?
