  1. Wow that does look nice...some good work there esp as it was all DIY! Carbon Vinyl isn't really my thing but slammed with a nice set of wheels that would look superb!
  2. Yeah passanger side gets condensation in it.Just whip the wheel off, remove arch liner, take sidelight and indicator out and give it a blast with my car dryer.Job done. Clarkie you can permenantly fix this bud....whip off your headlights and run some black silicon sealent around the edges this will make a water tight seal and should stop them from steaming up
  3. Probably a good idea to give the car a once over a week or so before you go...check engine oil, brake fluid all the usuals. The advice about France is pretty much spot on! they are a right pain there! Also take a camera so we can see lots of pics BTW feel free to post large pics of your avatar
  4. I was trying to remember who it was that wanted these wheels..BK racing do a similar type of wheel: http://www.bkracing.co.uk/_shop/product ... cts_id=205 Has the same lip Edit: Dotz also make some wheels with that lip: http://www.dotz-alloy-wheels.co.uk/prod ... ridium-lip
  5. no worries bud....looking forward to seeing pics when its fitted
  6. Abit of other advice....make sure both sides are level before you put them on and make sure the bolts are nice and tight on that top rubber pad as mine are slightly loose and make a bit of a racket when going over big dips in the road! HTH
  7. was wondering the same x2 I was thinking about wrapping the consol in a normal colour, but I think that would bring up the bubble effect which I dont want...however the carbon stuff seams to hide it...might just be because of the weave effect. Good job btw bullet...looks great
  8. That looks great! You could always get some black paint and go over the engraving to make it stand out alot more...would finish that off nicely IMO
  9. Go to the dealer and get a price for a new bumper from them, tell the Astra driver to pay you for a new bumper, then talk to Sarah @ Envy and get yourself a nice aftermarket one The cost of a new OEM bumper will probably cover a decent replica front
  10. cfoster - very good point I didnt think of that...with the heat the vinyl will look its elastic memeory and just curly up! Dene8 - I am gonna give the guys that make my strut a call and see what they can do...might do a limited batch of 5 if I can get enough interest but I wouldnt expect them to be cheap Craigus - Thanks bud, ive already talked to paul about this but seeing as I already make carbon bits it makes more sense that I make them myself
  11. Bump for interest.... Price has been dropped as I have negotiated a better deal with suppliers and found a cheaper way to ship Now retailing at £85 posted to anywhere in the UK
  12. Im fairly sure they are not Asanti....Ascari or something like that buy asanti they are not....I looked at Asanti rims for the zed and you dont get much change from 3k! for a decent set
  13. Hi Guys, I picked myself up a second set of facelift headlights the plan originally was to just paint them black and fit them back into the car but now im wondering if I should do something alittle different.... How hard do you recon it would be to wrap this in the CF Vinyl thats about at the moment? The alternative is to make a set of genuine Carbon Inserts which I might do depending on how much it will cost! Thoughts please
  14. Hi All, I have a brand new Carbon Fibre Seibon lip for the Facelift 350z that I have never fitted to my zed. I have had it sitting in my garage for the last 5 months and have decided not to fit it to my Zed as I have decided to go a different route The lip cost £450 inc import tax and delivery so looking for £220 ono. The lip does have a few small spider cracks which I have tried to picture but they are barely noticable I would preffer collection from Northwood, Middx or Woking, Surrey. Edit: I can now also post this item as Sarah @ Envy has offered to sort me out some boxes to fit this lip in Any questions let me know
  15. Hi Paul, I have the Nismo CAI on my zed and I just blocked up the tubes with some caps and abit of sealent. The main motor is on the other side so as long as you have a tight seal on the pipes your washer jets will still work
  16. Where in London are you? theres quite a few memebers about so we should be able to point you in the direction of a meet
  17. lol no worries...those are side lights...they come on with the first click of the light stalk. They will just an Ice white look against the OEM HID's
  18. I ahve these LED's in my Zed, they are £6 each but these have lasted me over 2 years! http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/ultimate-501 ... -1677.html I havent got any pics of them fitted to my zed though
  19. Facelift headlights with painted inners and LED mod for the DRL's. Fit Led's into the reflectors, I think marzman is selling these at the moment. Other then that you cant really do anything else apart from the usual changing of bulbs
  20. Hi All, I have had my CF lip sitting around in my dinning room for about 4 months and ive decided its about time i got off my ass and fitted it! So how did most people fit their CF lips? I assume its just a few screws on the bottom and side and some double sided tape through the middle... Also is there any special tool i need to drill CF? Cheers Bhav
  21. I think scott is making something like this out of Genuine CF for a fairly good price...so could be worth having a scout around the memeber traders section for that. I must admit I do like the look of carbon vinyl but you really cant beat the real thing!
  22. Next up would be to take the red out of the fog light and get a Red LED bulb in there.
  23. I dont think its a good idea at all...but if you did want to do it the best way would be to get chrome vinyl and wrap your existing pillar covers
  24. Remember facelift and pre-facelift are different so make sure you get the right one
