  1. I actually got a reply from my email to this guy asking about the car (I know its a fake just doing it for a laugh and to see what excuses he comes up, my be useful to avoid future scams, well that and I find it funny) he said.... I have replied asking how to pay and when...... lol
  2. Just had a look on autotrader there are quite a few 08 and 85 like it not sure if its a new thing? seems a bit odd to realise a new seat option just before you stop making the car, unless its a spec edition which none claim to be!
  3. http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... gLetter=08 Never seen this before only seen the orangey one and black, not sure about it myself! think I would stick with black....
  4. WELCOME Depends, I think it goes up to £400 if its after some time in the start of March 2006
  5. I am having an private garage doing mine and I know the guy has been fixing cars for 30 years so knows what he is doing and takes pride in it, not some kid on an NVQ ...... plus he likes decent cars and is interested in the zed so he can have my business! I try to stay clear of Oxford Nissan but I know for a courtesy car they charge £30, I was shocked I could hire a car for the day cheaper than that
  6. Would be a good deal for anyone with the skill to fix it, but id be worried about the quality of the work he has done already!
  7. Here is a suggestion, what about a car auction? I have been here several times http://www.british-car-auctions.co.uk/ some of the bargins they have had were unreal so much cheaper than autotrader or a dealer. I was a bit put off at first by not being able to give it a once over but if you get something with warranty on it then any problems (or at least most) the dealer will sort and any cosmetic damage you can see, plus most of the people selling there are lease companies so cars are generally returned to them in good nick other wise you get charged and are always main dealer serviced! To give you an example the last time I was there was Oct 08 and they sold a 57 Golf GTi with 8k on the clock for 12k Now given that I paid 12k for my 2006 55 plate roadster GT with 19k on the clock from a private seller in Nov I would suggest that 10k in the auction house and a little luck might get you a real bargin. Obviously if you still wanted dealer warranty on it you would be looking at a late reg 55 plate and with 10k it might be possible, worth a go - who knows in todays market and its a day out looking at some rather nice cars...when I went they were selling a year old M3's M'6 R32's 911's the list went on, Plus gives you an idea of what the auction value of cars are if you do decide to go down that route! Dont get these sites confused with the dodgy back street auctions (we have one down the road) and it just sells rubbish for £100 a go! This place sells for lots of big lease companies and also main dealers If you go on that website subscribe to something called aution view, costs about £10 and that is there version of autotrader and covers all the stock they have in all of thier sites (1000's of cars). Lets you see what zeds they have in stock and the spec and obviously the date of the auction!
  8. No its set a little lower than where the window moves, should never touch the window as it move! I agree about the metal!
  9. Have a look at this ebay link, its not the seat covers that are that bad, if you go down to where there is a slide show of pictures have a look at the 'original' trim he has chosen to sport with those seat covers! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-3 ... ccessories
  10. Tired one of these as I have the same problem. They are rubbish and dont really stick. Id like to see some pics of how the paint comes out...
  11. Well that is 1 for and 1 against! Any other opinions?
  12. Im 23 and paying £550 with my girlfriend (21) on it too, not that i let her drive it much Beat that! +1 same for me! Who is that with out of interest?
  13. I like this - I had a look on ebay and they have some GPS ones but they look a lot bigger than yours and I think that might not look as good, where did you get it from? Did you say something about an auto lights system they do to, do you have any more info... Id be very interested in that??
  14. I like it, think its different and looks quite smart, id like to see some pics with black screws.....
  15. Interesting, I have not heard that before, the general thoughts on the forum is that the kits wont add anything but a nice sound, id be interested to hear anyone elses views
  16. Great thatks, well I have about 50 left on my DTE so might just go out and for a drive and see what happens, good excuse to take the car out me thinks....
  17. when you say the left hand dial do you mean under the fuel gague? I think that my DTE is working ok but just havent seen the fuel light, so is the light under the fuel needle or on the DTE display. roughly what is your DTE showing when your fuel light comes on, I realise that thisdepends on your mpg's
  18. Hello all, Time for a stupid question, I am not sure if my fuel light is not working! I have had the car a month and taken the trip computer down to about 20 miles left on the range. Surely the fuel light should come on by then? I assume there is one.......
  19. Correct me if I am wrong but I thought induction kits didnt add any HBP at all on the zed as the ECU cancelled them all out....?
  20. I think it sets it off really nicely, its a finish that is popping up on quite a lot of cars, audi bmw etc, I would like to see it on the coupe too, see if you could do anything with that little back window too!
  21. Afternoon all, while the missus left me to clean the house, thought I would have a play around with the car and then come and talk about it on here instead! I recently bought one of those chrome grill kits which I fitted and looks alright, better than before. But I had a bit left and that got me thinking, what do you all think of this, I have attached a before and after shot! The little lip on the strip hooks on nicely so hopefully should stay in place!
