  1. Looks like someone got a wee bargain there. If only this was still for sale in a few months I would have been over in a shot for it!
  2. Z/Y/W is a multi-speed rating. (Y being the highest I believe which is tested to 168/186 mph) However, it will make no difference if z/y/w is fitted. The 95/91 z/y/w is the load index of the tyre. (strength of the sidewall) I recommend like for like replacement with regards to spec of tyre on the car, but to be honest, putting a set of tyres with a slightly higher l/index won't cause much of a problem. But on my car, I wouldn't up the index just to be on the safe side.. Z/Y/W doesnt matter..
  3. On the iPhone, texting is amazingly good, with error correction and predictive messaging meaning you can type super fast without bothering to be anything like accurate. Downsides though, it only has a 2mega pixel camera and you cannot send/recieve mms messages.
  4. Crazy bitch :scare: i'd go mental if that was my car "Wow... That sucks. Id punch her in the ovaries.... Right in the baby maker" LOL
  5. I've had my iPhone for 6 months now, it is very smooth and very easy to slip out of your hands if your hands are clean. I dropped mines from about 1 1/2 feet and damaged 2 lines of pixels on my screen. Certainly cannot fault the software on the phone though.
  6. £51 is better than a kick in the balls. Go and get pished
  7. I take it you realise these are winter tyres mate?

  9. oooooo, thats such fight talk from a guy that plays a girly sport Please don't hurt me
  10. I wouldn't imagine it would cause any problem to be honest.
  11. lol, egg chasing is for sissy's
  12. I had a rather expensive head unit stolen from my first car whilst it was parked in the street outside my house one night. The police just do not seem intrested in in matters such as thefts from motor vehicles, vandalism etc. But as soon as a fist has been raised, the police are straight to your doorstep. I once seen had a guy kick a wing mirror off of my car at 2am in the morning and I seen red mist. I went out with my shorts and t-shirt on and wanted to fight three guys, without realising what trouble that I had walked into. After getting chased 2 miles, after hitting the biggest guy and my house window put in with a half brick, it could have been worse - i could have been stabbed! :o Sad state of affairs that people are scared to stand up and try to protect their property from mindless idiots.
  13. Ach, c'mon get her told Jay That reminds me, i've actually got scud pictures of a certain girl I was seeing, and I have now noticed she has racked up a fair amount of posts on the Strathycruise website. She didn't half turn into a nutter after I first met her. To find a girl that talked about cars more than me was rather disturbing.
  14. haha are we hearing uni students complain about having lots of work to do?????? see, exactly what i said.. I wish I was at uni actually. I love driving past the uni's, theres plenty of eye candy I read an article in the Daily Record last week which was titled "Students out of control". Basically, drunk students on freshers week with baps out, £1 per "lethal" shot and generally having a good time. And I spend a fortune every year going to Spain for this, when its on my door step? lol, i'll go and have a look at some uni prospectuses
  15. Genuine brand new cap, with tags. £6 posted. Cheers
  16. Ah, cool. The bro studies economics & marketing there. He's in the house more than what he is in uni :o and moans that he has a hard time of things.. lol, just wait until he starts work.
  17. I don't think they can give you points for a mis-represented plate. at the most, just ask the DVLA to remove the right for you to use the plate. I've had "S777EE F" on my car since last January, and only been stopped twice. I guess that because I drive like a granny, the police don't mind
  18. A quick search of the net shows that newton mearns is under the G77 postal area? According to http://www.carinsuranceexplained.com/car_insurance_explained/insurance_postcode_risk.htm It is amongst one of the high risk areas, as is Motherwell. So that is a very reasonable price for your insurance. What do you study at Strathclyde mate?
  19. "a 4 seater economical 1.4 sports car" What about a clio? They go dirt cheap these days and are cheap to maintain?
  20. Can't agree more with you there. I've been pulled a few times with the traffics because of my mis-spaced plate. I've just been pleasant to them, and they have sent me on my way without any fines. One even commented on how dirty my car was, and when he usually see's it is spotless I was slightly drunk on saturday night, and was talking drunken rubbish to coppers on the beat outside the local nightclub asking one particular cop if he could get me a job driving the local traffic's Evo 10. I can just remember him asking me "So have you got your car with you tonight mate?" I quickly replied "yeah - it's round the corner, I hate walking home when its freezing". Thing is, I couldn't stand.. lol.
  21. Indeed buddy. The one on the far right is not bad, slightly young tho. The one second from the left looks like she has been dookin' for apples in a chip pan however...
