  1. It doesn't look like it is a popular feature, signed in to see what it's all about and nothing happening
  2. Don't have a clue about the Xbox in particular, but I do know that under the Sales of Goods Act 1979 the goods must be 'fit for purpose' - ie, should not be breaking down within 11 months, and you have the right to expect the shop you bought it from to deal with it for you. Some shops can be pretty arsey about this, but you are within your rights to get them to deal with it and liaise with Microsoft if necessary on your behalf. You shouldn't have to pay postage, or incur any other liabilities yourself, etc.
  3. kinky! PMSL!!! Might I just clear up for the record that i did NOT write that Shows whats on your mind Stew, tsk!

  7. I tend to find it's quietest in the evenings - although no doubt even though I park in a space furthest away from the shop, with dozens of empty spaces around, some numpty will have parked right next to me! If you see the car, and somebody stocking up in the wine aisle, that'll be me
  8. Where were you cruising Stew? I might be out your way tonight to Tesco, got some shopping to do and thought the car park might be empty-ish - seeing as it will only be saddos like me going on a Friday night! If I can be bothered after getting home from work, long day!

  13. Love Ian Rankin too, read them all! Nixy - give Karen Rose a go, see what you think, personally love her books and have read all of them too.
  14. I can't really help on the humorous books - unless he likes chick lit lol But on the crime/thriller front, we may have similar tastes, I notice you mentioned Karin Slaughter and Michael Connolly - both authors I also like. Have you tried Karen Rose? Love her books. Also, P J Tracy is another good one. James Patterson always worth a try too. HTH, albeit not to your original question
  15. It's been announced that the Government IS delaying the change in the car tax rules, to help with the current economic climate. I haven't heard the exact details yet - who it applies to, how long a delay, etc - but will be interesting to find out.
