  4. This morning as I was going west, around J14 area. Think it had a black spoiler but not sure!
  5. just heard that the gaskets I need are on back order.. bugger.
  6. Just found this post http://www.350z-uk.c...ng-of-berk-hfc/ so now i'm not sure if I have studs or bolts missing... probably M8 though at a guess?
  7. I just went down there for them to take a look, I said I'd come through a recommendation from a guy off the 350z forum and they knew who I meant
  8. What bolt sizes do I need for the triangular flange on the berk hfcs? Appears the original cats had the studs integral to the flange, but the berks don't, and my exhaust is blowing as a couple of the bolts are missing now :-s cheers, Mike
  9. Thanks for the replies! I've used tdi North a few times now, good lads, I was just seeing if there is a place close to work I could nip out to quickly
  10. I need my exhaust looking at pretty soon and I'm working in the Flint / Chester area for the next couple of weeks, any thoughts on a reliable garage I could take it to? cheers, Mike
  11. Well the codes come back every second trip or so. It now sounds like I have an exhaust leak which is getting slowly worse. Trying to stick my head under the car it appears to be forward of the y-pipe, but difficult to tell with the undertray in place. Could this be the problem or just coincidence?
  12. Thanks for the info. I have cleared the codes for now, will see if it comes back and then check for intake leaks (after the airflow sensor I presume, guess I am looking for split hoses etc?)
  13. I gather this means I'm running lean, could this be caused by an air leak? I am thinking exhaust most likely?
  14. Sorry for late reply, didn't get a notification... I will have a look for any loose heat shields, I know the HFCs don't have any. Its a difficult thing to replicate without risking damage... cheers
  15. I think that looks a right mess.
  16. I've noticed it before, and again today in the appalling rain on the M6... when it is really wet or if I've gone through standing water sometimes, there is a really loud noise / vibration from the exhaust when I accelerate. After a minute or two it is back to normal again. I had the exhaust checked at the last service and nothing appeared wrong. Could it be that rapid cooling of the pipes is causing them to pull a joint apart or something? I have HFCs, Y pipe and a scorpion fitted. Cheers, Mike
  17. sometime just after 11am today
