  1. They are GT4 wheels with more spokes?!
  2. Gosh..Im glad the previous owner of my Z, replaced the OEM one with a JVC headunit which is sweet!
  3. You dont need one, you have a spacer Coo..thats fine! At least I can save a bit of money! My engine light issue should be solved by spacing the sensors, due to the fast flow?
  4. *STOP PRESS* Was at Tescos Purley last night and saw a lady with 2 kids pushing a trolley full of shopping, her young son of about 5- or 6 took the trolley and lost control , and went into the side of a 08 plate Roadster then carried on as if nothing had happen!! WTF!!! It looked as if the paint had been broken too...
  5. Ancaster Croydon is where my Z is NOW, Good service and mechanical team there!!

  8. Nice to hear of good cameraderie, and helping fellow Z owner , unlike some other people..
  9. Thats great, Im sure parking near a camera will prevent the dings and dents!
  10. I park the furthest away possible if, and thats a BIG IF I have to go to a supermarket, and then it is over 2 spaces where available I totally avoid multi-story car parks because of crazy deep ramps, and narrow bays! Basically, I park as far from another car as possible!
  11. OMG..I would wash down all the surrounding areas where the brake fluid might have come in contact with!
  12. ROFLCOPTER & ROFLBROTHEL!!!
  13. ROFL Chris, nice one, the RS4 aint so bad in corners and tight spots!
  14. To be honest, I may not put the Polished one on, so quite possibly I am going to sell this!! Jerry
  15. Just been to NISSAN to check on the progress of work investigating my engine light issue. Spoke to the chief mechanic who told me that the CATS, SENSORS etc were working fine, they all passed SRT testing and show completed across the board. The Plennum/spacer have been re-sealed to stop any air leaks that may have been. so far, so good. The rear axle click is to be dealt with today, and I was shown the repair kit which might be used to address the issue. So all in all, a few things have been ruled out..
  16. S-H-I-F-T - Looks ..not a bad little run around really!! Jerry
  17. Hi Matth, Yes, I did have a CTR..one of the best cars I have ever owned, it was a very potent beast, My CTR had a full Spoon exhaust, Jackson Racing Manifold, Spoon 4-pot calipers, Hondata ECU producing dyno result of 183WBHP, very, very quick in the twisties, probably quicker than a 350Z could ever be! In addition, it had a fast road geometry, eibach springs, torque damper and strut and tie-bar elsewhere, AS one person called it "A SPOONED-UP TRACK WHORE EP3"! Even though its gone, there isnt a day that goes by, that I dont miss it. I think the 350 is a more grown up sports car, whereas the CTR was a RAW, racer that made your hair fizz, give you a buzz, and remembering the comment of a female passenger I once carried as we pulled up at a set of Lights next to a Golf GTI.."Go on, go on..you can take him.."! These days, not about speed anymore, its about looking good going slow. Jerry
  18. What ever I may decide to charge you mate as you have no other options. Naturally, Im hoping I dont have to go your route Alex...I sense you get some pleasure from other owners misfortunes.
  19. Hmm...some good points you`ve raised there m8! I can only hope that they resolve the issue, so far it looks like they are entertaining it, but if it takes returning the parts to OEM, do you think thats the quick solution? The tech mech at Nissan is a good guy, and I believe he knows his stuff, after all he fitted the whole mods package on my Z now. The ball is in their hands for now, lets see what they do with it. ....and my next question is ..Alex how much for the 02 sims?
  20. Welcome matey, I am from a Type-R background too!! Jerry
  21. Hi Guys, Well, the Z is with the men in white coats at Nissan, no word or update as yet, but I am hopeful that they will resolve the issues I am experiencing. I did indeed get my Z with the Plennum spacer, High flow cats etc, and was lucky to get the 2 year warranty with all the bits! Im expecting a call tomorrow regarding the engine light situation, hopefully, they will have the exact cause after the process of elimination. As for the REAR AXLE CLICKY thing, they know there is the updated repair kit as sold by Zmanalex, and I have insisted that it is used to fix the fault, I did emphasise that it was a temporary fix, just greasing the part, and wouldnt it be better to do the repair properly But I guess, they saw the logic of what I was saying, but its down to Nissan and cost. Lets wait and see..
