While at the stealers I asked the service Manager if he could do me a deal on servicing costs, below is what he printed out to me: P1 - Labour hrs 1.4 Labour total -£136.85 Parts Total -£83.79 Icl Price = £220.64 P2 - Labour hrs -2 Labour total - £195.50 Parts Total - £105.95 Incl Price = 301.45 P3 - Labour Total - £224.82 - Labour hrs - 2.3 Parts Total - £105.95 Incl Price - £330.77 Obviously, this doesnt take into account any other additional parts you may need ie brakes discs, pads etc. Above is the summary of the base deal on the services, the printout also details what parts they use and the breakdown of the cost. Well, got the Z back just now, and it feels smoother idling, alot tighter sounding? I was told ABBEY MOTORSPORT made some custom spacers for the sensors, to stop them reading too much 02! The car was tested, and ALL SRT tests were completed, and according to Nissan, no problems detected..Phew! Chief mechanic said the Kinetix cats were working fine, plennum had been re-sealed, no air leaks etc! The clicky rear axle problem has been rectified with the replacement repair kit! On this occasion, I am happy Nissan have done so well, lets see what what happens.. Jerry

Just been called by ANCASTER CROYDON and informed that my Zed is ready for collection! Early indications suggest that all appears to be aparently correct. I will speak with the Chief Mechanic who has looked after this Z since it left the factory; he also fitted ALL the bits personally. Fingers crossed its been done to a good standard, I hope there are no Dings or Dents in the doors Ive seen the space they have for parking, and I have to say that I wouldnt leave my Z there if I had a choice! I will collect it tomorrow...

Yes, SILKOLENE has been used by me in my 300BHP Super-Charged Civic Type-R for over 3 and a half years, oil been changed every 3K, to some, thats overkill, but thats just me. Silkolene is rated above existing standards, and will happily stay at 120 degrees on a track all day, or a daily drive without breaking a sweat, granted AMSOIL is good, but then theres Silkolene! Equally, MOTUL 300V Power is another one I would put in my engine, but I chose the SILKY.

For me SILKOLENE PRO-S 5W 40 Ester synthetic, there is no substitute.

Make sure its got Nissan history, no cllicky rear axle sounds,Bose Stereo CD is not skipping,, dents or dings, kerbed wheels, No accident damage, body panels all line up, Check brake discs for lip/wear, all gears engage smoothly. Plus more that others will post.
