    Disabling ABS

    IMO the ABS kicks in sooner then you would lock up your tires under hard braking on trackwork... I know I'm leaning back towards bikes but when you break on a bike if it had ABS you'd be fubar... Sometimes you hit the front brake so hard that the rear went up in the air! Anyhu, I'm going to ask the ABS questions on another place and see what they come back with

    Maybe we can get some of the dudes that track cars to have their say? I'm merly stating from my own experience (on a bike more then car) that I prefer full control on the brakes, you shouldn't jam on the brakes so you lock them either way... the feel I got in the car was that (might been due to them boiling) it was hitting on and off when it really shouldn't... personal vote is OFF and if you lock your wheels you've misscalculated where you're braking SHOULD have started Braking point, entry point, apex, exit... vroom vroom Maybe MRLizard can point some input in here? Or someone else that has race track experience / training etc...

    Reason to disable ABS: you can't brake as hard due to the ABS cutting in... mate of mine did some testing on the BMW race bike and just told them to take the ABS off! (all of the test drivers said...) and they did, It made braking very dodgy to say the least... I'd rather have it off to be honest.
  5. Oh yeah, had some weird rattle noise before I changed over to my HFC's, it was the heat chielding on the bloody cats that caused it to rattle!
  6. << me Mmmm you're right re the plugs remember when I was troubleshooting my Altezza's Ignition coils I heard the sounds of a plug that wasnt tightened properly and the sound on the V6 would be coming from the sides... you could check that easy enough I'd say...
  7. Just buy a vw lol some of them have super and turbo chargers on them. only 1.4s i think though Lol was thinking the same! Mate has one.... turbo gave trouble and he said it was weird since the sc was pushing away at low rpm, once the turbo was going to kick in it didn't and he had no power! :-)

  11. jdm's can come with brembos as well ok I'll clarify what I meant by saying JDM... Standard brakes or Brembos ? NO UK car came with them... so... soo .... osoosososooso...
  12. or by spedning 5k$ you can get an EMS and midturbo setup and get 400whp+ ftw... as you would say...
