I tried, but my iPhone only goes up to 105db. However, Blitz state that it's 91db and also that it passes JASMA regs (93db max??).

Intelligent Power Distribution Module Think its used to save the ecu if something goes belly up which it did in this case I guess. It's recommended to replace the bcm too... hope this never happens to me. Still troubled on how the water came in there in the first place....

How the hell diid that happen? Have you checked the harness yourself for rust? Second hand would be the route to go if you need to replace saw some on a us forum getting on for 150$... (preowned) so should be under the k mark anyway. I'd do what Alex said get a few more peps to have their say. Maybe take the oportunity to get a motec ECU not sure it replaces the IPDM though...

get one of those 10£ cameras they have a very small lense then drill a small hole in the regplate where you have black text then stick the cam there... was thinking on using one of mine that I cracked open for that later on...
