  1. On another occasion, having upgraded to a nicer car, I was visiting a friend and from their front room saw a passing lout put his can of beer down on the roof of my car and reach into his pocket. Luckily I got up and out onto the street before he could fish out his keys.

Would like to hear the end of that story! Hopefully it involved you keying his knee caps.

Big sympathy to the OP, shitty thing to happen.

  2. Thanks for the info mate. It's definately a squeak rather than a click (sounds like something rubbing), but matches the rest of those symtoms. I'll have a read of Husky's post.

  3. Mate! Gutted you've sold up, will there be replacement or will just have the van? Hope you'll still be popping into meets.

no replacement as of yet got a few things i want to do first. getting wed next year and starting up a sidline company, but im always gunna have that ich.

im only young and still have a dream car to get and to get it im gunna have to work my b$*ls off.

i will def pop along. i saw you today on winterstoke road about 3.30

Good man, I can always give you a ride along. :)

  4. I'm sure I read that most modern engines effectively leave the factory pre-run in. But you should still take it easy for the first few hundre miles because every component on the car needs time to 'bed in'. Just don't drive like a tw@t for the first 1,000 miles and I'm sure you'll be fine.

  5. Pretty poor turnout today, just me and Struan, although cheers to Rich for dropping off the tickets. Oh and good to see Ian, even if it was sans GTR! It was cracking fun though, some good racing on track and a few stunning cars around, the Vipers in particular were just awesome. Sadly no pics as my camera got water logged a couple of weeks ago. Maybe next time....

  6. I may get shot down for this, but really don't see the point of having a shed unless you need four seats or do hyper mileage. The Zed is great car but its no fezza or lambo, its a cheap fun Japanese sports car. If you plan to keep it forever and in pristine condition then fair enough, buy for the rest of us just drive it as much as possible and enjoy it!

  7. thanks gurjeet that was my point but i you did a better job of putting it across.

to be honest i wouldnt expect anything else from ekona, pretty much every reply i have seen him put usually involves him looking down his nose at people

Actually I think you're the one being rude. I think Ekona's posts were pretty restrained considering. I doubt many people on a 350z forum are going to be experts on BMW tyre pressures, i'm sure there are BMW forums if you took the time to search.
