Yikes, that's rubbish mate. Still, a good excuse to drop a VQ35HR in there.

You might find this thread interesting Number86, lots of views on why the 370Z hasn't sold so well....

On another occasion, having upgraded to a nicer car, I was visiting a friend and from their front room saw a passing lout put his can of beer down on the roof of my car and reach into his pocket. Luckily I got up and out onto the street before he could fish out his keys.
Would like to hear the end of that story! Hopefully it involved you keying his knee caps.
Big sympathy to the OP, shitty thing to happen.

GB sticker?

Thanks for the info mate. It's definately a squeak rather than a click (sounds like something rubbing), but matches the rest of those symtoms. I'll have a read of Husky's post.
-
Noticed at the weekend moving slowly in traffic that their appears to be a squeak coming from my rear axle. I'm guessing something has worn/needs greasing. Any ideas?

Saw this car at the Autosport show back in January, but for those who haven't can I just say

I've taken my Zed through a safari park beofre with no issues, but thankfully the monkey enclosure was shut due to a syphillis outbreak!

Mate! Gutted you've sold up, will there be replacement or will just have the van? Hope you'll still be popping into meets.
no replacement as of yet got a few things i want to do first. getting wed next year and starting up a sidline company, but im always gunna have that ich.

i will def pop along. i saw you today on winterstoke road about 3.30
Good man, I can always give you a ride along.

Ha ha, glad I'm not the only one with this guilty little secret! Trying to crack Formula No One but am useless on the ice track!

I'm sure I read that most modern engines effectively leave the factory pre-run in. But you should still take it easy for the first few hundre miles because every component on the car needs time to 'bed in'. Just don't drive like a tw@t for the first 1,000 miles and I'm sure you'll be fine.
-
Pretty poor turnout today, just me and Struan, although cheers to Rich for dropping off the tickets. Oh and good to see Ian, even if it was sans GTR! It was cracking fun though, some good racing on track and a few stunning cars around, the Vipers in particular were just awesome. Sadly no pics as my camera got water logged a couple of weeks ago. Maybe next time....

Go on then chaps, i'll make an appearance but damn that's an early start for a Saturday!
Will need to give the car a good clean tomorrow as its filthy from my trip to Spa last weekend
Nice one, be good to see you there
You too buddy, see you tomorrow

Great story rabbitstew, properly lol'd at that!
-
This car is registered as an 09, but has no bonnet bulge. Smells fishy to me......
-
I may get shot down for this, but really don't see the point of having a shed unless you need four seats or do hyper mileage. The Zed is great car but its no fezza or lambo, its a cheap fun Japanese sports car. If you plan to keep it forever and in pristine condition then fair enough, buy for the rest of us just drive it as much as possible and enjoy it!

Welcome buddy, get some pics up

Abbey Motorsport remap – dyno'ed at 335HP (print out available)
Wow, that's got to be some kind of remap record for the VQ35DE engine. It might be worth posting the dyno plot on this thread as I suspect some would be quite skeptical of that figure. Good lukc with the sale, lovely looking car.

thanks gurjeet that was my point but i you did a better job of putting it across.
to be honest i wouldnt expect anything else from ekona, pretty much every reply i have seen him put usually involves him looking down his nose at people
Actually I think you're the one being rude. I think Ekona's posts were pretty restrained considering. I doubt many people on a 350z forum are going to be experts on BMW tyre pressures, i'm sure there are BMW forums if you took the time to search.
-
any thoughts?
BMW have a better idea of the best tyre pressures for your car than you do.

He's got an R34 now, so I wouldn't be too sad about it!
