Tell him if he meets you half way (i.e £9k) he's got a deal!
-
Have you got a job on Top Gear? What will you be racing? A hot air balloon?
-
Well done bud!*
I stayed with SOU - up 77% since purchase.
*Maybe you can now afford to give it a little more right foot next time we meet at Castle Combe.
My problem was not giving enough right foot to the brake!

For the record, these are the shares I currently own. A few familiar names in there, a few not so familiar. They are all shares which could go fly or go bust. Hopefully they will fly, but I would not be shocked if a couple went the other way.
Amerisur Resources (AMER)
Central Rand Gold (CRND)
ITM Power (ITM)
Provexis (PXS)
Range Resources (RRL)
Xcite Energy (XEL)
Did anyone get in on the PXS? Up 17% today
-
When did you get in XEL?
I was one of the people responsible for the share going up by 1000%. I was sat in a room next to one of their directors (that sold 24 million worth of shares on Christmas eve) and all the other directors on a conference line telling them to go for it during a well test!
Shame I wasn't allowed to invest in them.
I actually just got a medal from work for the last time XEL share prices shot up. I was offshore running the job and got the heaviest artificially lifted oil out the ground ever by going for it! The director that I was advising before Christmas said I had made him a tidy sum then as it proved the field they were exploring was viable.
Only recently in XEL, so playing the waiting game, but on a small proft so far.....

I'm driving to Belgium at the end of August for the grand prix. Will be in the Zed so can't wait!
-
Good to see everyone, although I wish I had wrapped up a bit warmer
It seemed to turn into a bit of a Fiesta meet by the end, couldn't beleive how many there were further down the gorge. Made our Zed turnout look pretty tiny!
-
Right, think I have persueded my mate who is tagging along its worth getting up extra early to join the convoy of Zeds! So I will be at Cribbs. If we're a bit late don't set off without us!
-
Have you looked at Amerisur Resources (AMER) Simon? Good RNS out this week but the price doesn't seem to have moved yet.
mmmmmmmmmmmm
120% rise since November. Where were you 4 months ago at 12p.
Will do research and get back. Chart shows downward trend.
I have a couple of other tips for you, but we can speak on Sunday

Plus the only GT I test drove stalled unless you were pulling off with about 3000rpm, absoulte heap!!
Don't really think that has anything to do with it being a GT pack

Cheers for the replies, hadn't realised my car was so fat!

While its true that 2006 model has a few extra bhp its also a fact that it weighs considerably more than the older version, around 75 kgs so the performance difference is pretty slim tbh. The main difference as I see it is the uprated lighting and interior are enough of an improvement to make them a bit more desirable.
This is the second time I've read this on the forum. Does anyone know why the 2006 weighs so much more? Unless there's a free gold bar hidden somewhere inside each 2006 model that I haven't found yet.
-
Good write up Will, glad you're happy with the results. Any figures for torque improvement?
-
Agree with what Neil says. I was amazed at how driving around a track wore my tyres so little (different story with brakes though!). Perhaps I wasn't driving hard enough!
-
Great news, make sure you post up the results

No changes that I know of. I think there was a slight tweak to the mapping for new Euro immissions but that was before the Zed even made it to the UK. Perhaps the MY2010 model had another tweak. I've heard all sorts quoted, 331PS, 332HP, 328HP, 326HP. I think its all down to someone not converting it properly or taking actual numbers they've somehow measured.
I wouldnt worry about it, its not even 1% power difference! Plus, get a exhaust and remap and you're laughing, 20HP+ easily (upto 40HP if you get decats too!)
How come the 370Z responds so well to mods ? 40+ bhp for a 350Z would require some major modifications.

For some reason stories like this give me a disproportionate amount of pleasure
+1
Even his his Puma was twice as fast as a Zed I'd still rather be driving the Zed.
A little whinge and a word of caution

So driving back along the M4 last night a blooming great big rock gets flicked up into my windscreen, leaving a great big chip right in my line of vision.
Phone my insurance company last night and it is being replaced tomorrow. However because my insurance company is swift cover it means I won't get my next years no claims bonus (although I keep everything accrued so far). As far as I can see they are the only insurers that do this, so just something to bear in mind if you are going to use them.
