I got 42mpg @57mph on the m4 from Porthcawl to Swansea!!! Must of been driving into the wind lol. It was mind numbingly boring though.

Every nissan badge on the car except maybe the steering wheel one can be replaced with a Z badge Another cheap mod is a popcharger to replace that restrictive nissan air filter, and it sounds good too

to the forum. Change all the nissan badges to `Z` ones is a good first and subtle mod.

Hi mate, yeah they charged me £280 to strip and repaint my type r wheels, but their work was faultless. A few of my mates had wheels refurbed and again couldn`t fault them.

Nissan told me today that they wont replace under warranty as its not part of bodywork. My car is just over 4 yrs old so if it was still in the 3 yr warranty then they would have been replaced. Same goes for the wheels. The price for the wiper arms are £85 +vat for drivers side and £69+vat for the other Anyway stuff nissan, i went to Renowheels in Bridgend and they are going to redo my wiper arms for £15 and get a few marks out of a wheel for £30. Happy days all round Good for you.. I've used Renowheel myself in the past and they do a really good job. I used them to refurbish a set of type r wheels, and they done a superb job. By the way i`ve still got them, still wrapped up and never had tyres fitted. Part-exd for the zed before i got chance to put them on. Selling them if anyone wants them

And me any day UK zeds are less hassle at the end of the day and are apparantly slightly cheaper to insure.

Hi and Buy an already imported car, saves all the hassle and wait. Just make sure you know what to look for and get advice if needed.

Ordered them from courtesyparts, with postage they work out at about £60, but if i get stung for customs tax maybe looking at a bit more

May well b, i`ll see what nissan has to say in the morning.

My drivers side wiper arm has started corroding and the paint is coming off. Rather than rub it down and repaint it, has anyone got a spare one or point me in the right direction for a good one. I`ll probably ask at my local nissan stealers tomorrow for a laugh, and see what stupid price they come up with, just in case.

If i had a black zed that is exactly how i`d want it to look, absolute sex on wheels Fantastic job mate.

O well had to be done i suppose. The dealer will put a top price on it and somebody will come along and buy it on finance. Nobody has the money to burn on a nice car these days, so buying privately for most is out of the question.

Hi Jerry and I too moved up from a ctr to the zed, and i had my 53 plate type r from new. It was a sad day to see it go but the zed helped me get through it You will enjoy the 350 but you may find that the handling wont be upto the standard of the type r. If it hasn`t already been done save up for coilovers like the KW`s or TEIN`s and then you`ll be really happy. Enjoy

Hi, just to let you all know, i`ve ordered the `Z` center caps for the 18" rays wheels. Hoping to receive them before the autotuner show, so that i can give them out to those who placed an order for them. Also, have 2 "Z" emblems that replace the nissan badge on the engine cover!! If anyone wants one let me know, first come first served Obviously i`ll put one on my car and the other one i`ll let go for £20

My new baby is a 53 plate GM Grey with the funky orange seats. I'm loving it. Had a funny incident yesterday. First day out in it, gorgeous day driving between Warrington and Bradford.... loving the sunshine on my head and the wind in my hair. It was a scorcher of a day. 28c on the read out... was way too hot and was sweating like a fat lass in clingfilm. Yes you guessed it... I had leaned on the seat heat switch! Felt a little silly. Will post later with update on response from garage. Yeah easily done, not the best place to have a switch. Did the same thing yesterday so i blamed the misses my arse was all hot and sweaty

All depends how much you want to spend, give Bigphil or Kev from Envy a ring and they`ll give you the best options to suit the car and your pocket

They use a timing chain and it shouldn`t need replacing. If you wanted cruise i`d return the car and ask for your money back, otherwise i`d be asking for at least £300 back if not more!!
