Noooo, don't do it Ed 🥲 Can personally vouch for this car, serious ££££ spent on it, all quality parts - giving it the TORQEN seal of approval. Would be a great buy for someone looking for a 370z and it's well priced, GLWTS.

Good stuff. Not bad roads on that side of M25 either.

Now or never. By the time we all wait these cars will have over £1000 road tax, fuel will be £2.00 due to a 10 year long war in Russia, pay per mile will be active and ULEZ will probably add more cars to list with higher emissions -

Isn't this how everyone does car shopping? I have a budget. I know my budget. I will stick to my budget. ...But that's only a little bit over my budget. ...[man maths] I can make that work if [insert unrealistic caveats here]. ...But if I can make that work, this isn't much more than that... And suddently you've convinced yourself that doubling budget is perfectly reasonable and realisitic, especially if you just wait a little bit longer for prices to drop/savings to be saved/bonus to be paid/etc. -
Got exactly the same problem right now, in my case it happened after a failed start so at first I thought it was the battery but replacing it didn't help.

As said, best get the codes read but when I had this it was a camshaft sensor. If it is, it's an easy fix, but don't buy cheap Chinese ebay copies!

R8 vs GTR wouldn’t even be a question, in my mind. Unless you need the back seats, it’s not even close. However, we’ve now gone a budget class or two above a 987.2/981 🤣 -

Another reason the 67 Zeds are being kept pricey. The tax is 190 or so. I definitely want to try other cars first ngl. I think ill arrange some test drives coming days/weeks. Certain costs are given but they vary vastly over an extended period from car to car. The GTR is what it is for costs. I even think its inline with R8 maintenance. Theres a couple in my area. -
Thanks Alex! Don’t have the kit for that in the garage at home so will take it down to local Monday morning to find out the DTC’s. Will try disconnecting the battery now for a bit though. Cheers for the help mate, James
