  2. 370z is an evolution of the 350z rather than a different car. JMHO 350z is old school, mechanical, raw,...370z is a bit more refined, bit more power, track little wider wheelbase little shorter, so probably a bit sharper, although 99% of road driving you'd struggle to tell a difference. I've seen some stunning builds of both. I'd be happy with either. I'd say focus on a solid, well maintained, rust free, well loved example. I buy a lot from Torqen never had any problems, decent guys; Tarmac Sportz also has a good reputation. I also buy parts online from the US, Japan etc. There is a huge zed sceen in the US. I run an Infinity exhaust, fits well, great tone, not obnoxious.

  4. I have one in stock. Just drop me a PM if you still require one.. Alex
  5. Just use a regular lead acid battery designed for our 350z
  6. Ok good to know, thanks for that! Would there be any reason to go 350z over a 370z, or are they basically the same car? I've found a decent amount on AutoTrader so far of both. Also found the torqen website as well, this a good one that you know of? Probs just buy most of my mods from there, starting with the infinity exhaust. Very new to this so if you have any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  7. That budget gets you either. They are fun, raw, low tech, decent power (can make big power) Totally opposite to your EV. Easy to work on, reliable, parts readily available. Make great project cars. I've noticed the price of decent 350z is slowly starting to rise now. Most comparable probably a Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ with a hint of Ford Mustang.

  9. Shocking that was regarding the main dealer service, I much prefer to do what I can on my own car.
  10. Rounding out 2025's updates for the ol girl. Since Japfest Silverstone 25' I've gone back to the 19's and carrying out a few maintenance tasks along the way. Late summer MOT had an advisory for the track rod ends, last pair only lasted 24 months so opted for an upgrade from gktech. Coilovers Life...... Alot better design of the gaiter Then on for wheel alignment Noise from the rear tackled recently. A pair of Hayaku wheel bearings and assembly from Tarmacsports. PBS track pads went back in as thought initially the noise from the rear might have been them. Turned out Donington was a bit to hard on the aged bearing on the passenger side rear. Annual service was due also ahead of Japfest Silverstone next month. Nismo filter off, new Nismo filter on. Gave her a wipe down whilst the ally under tray was off also, not looking too bad under there for very nearly 100,000 miles.
  11. Thanks mate. I have no idea why I am doing what I am doing to be honest, pushing all the buttons to make sure this car lasts
  12. You have been busy with your zed, looks much better
  13. Not really set on budget yet, probably £8-15k depending on what makes the most sense? Would stretch for the right car though I guess. We’ve just started looking so thought I’d ask people who’ve owned them if they’re still worth it today. Just want something we can work on together.
  14. I can cut holes for you if you like. I must warn though, I have zero experience
  15. Decided to do some more before the track. Bought following: Motul multi ATF - 10 litres Transmission screen and gasket Nissan differential fluid - 2 litres Motul RBF 660 brake fluid - 3 litres Nissan green coolant - 10 litres K&N Long-life Air Filter EBC Yellowstuff brake pads Also.... drumroll.... NEW HEADLIGHT LENSES! I will do all these in two weeks time. In the meantime, please let me know if you think I am missing something It is just 20 minutes novice track session but whatever
  16. Anyone got a 350z HR window motor for the passenger side?

    Zouthern Meet

I was thinking more like a meet where we can have something to eat and/or drink as well. I found two places in the middle of everyone Rainbow on the Lake The Bridge Inn Both in a very good location, reasonable drive for everyone, have food and drinks and looks like enough parking for us. I will visit both of them in advance and see if they are happy with us gathering there. I also want to see how busy they are during evenings to decide if I need to book or just turn up. Thinking Saturday evening, to make sure highest turnout, but we'll see
  18. What's your budget?
  19. Genuinely not sure. The carbon bonnet has threaded inserts and the three OE latches are solid enough. But at 80-90 (on a track obviously 😉) you can see the bonnet starting to deflect upwards. Not unusual for carbon. I guess its a case of have them and not need them over need them and not have them. I bought some aero catches, and also bought push button which will probably be easier and discreet 32mm Push Button Release Latch Pair – Car Builder Solutions
  20. Hey all, Me and the wife are hitting midlife crisis and looking at picking up something a bit more fun alongside our EV6 GT. As quick as it is, it's just not the same you know? lol Currently looking at a 350Z or 370Z, but unsure which makes more sense in 2026. Are these still worth it today, or is there something else in a similar price range I should be considering? Any ownership experiences appreciated 👍
  21. Are they needed?
  22. Hi, Took my skirts off and noticed the dreaded rust underneath them. Can anyone give me a bit of a step by step for removing this rust. My current plan is to cut all the rust out, use hydrate-80 rust converter on any left over surface rust in the sill then weld the new panel in and use Dynax S50 as a cavity wax inside the sill. The main question I have is with this current approach the new steel i will be welding in will be bare metal inside the sill so surely this will just form rust again? I have heard of people using zinc rich weld through primers to protect the inside before welding but from what i am reading most people avoid using these as they make the welds really bad. Am I missing something?

  25. Hi everyone, After narrowly missing out on a local car, I’m looking for a clean, enthusiast-owned 350Z HR. I’m a serious buyer with funds ready to go for the right example. My Preferences: Spec: Must be a GT Pack Engine: Strictly HR Colour: Top priority is San Marino Blue (SMB). Would consider other colours for an exceptional car, but SMB is the dream. Mileage: Ideally under 60k miles, but I value maintenance history over a number on the clock. Condition: Looking for a well-cared-for car. I’m okay with subtle OEM+ mods (exhaust, intake, etc.), but nothing "clapped out" or heavily tracked. I’m based in North West London, but more than happy to travel across the UK for the right car. If you’re thinking of selling or know of one coming up, please drop me a DM or comment below Thanks, Gabriel

    HR radiator

Thanks. I’m thinking of selling the car so trying to not put too much money into it but if I need to go down the new route will consider giving you a shout.
  27. Hi, We should have plenty of Mishimoto and Koyo in stock if you need new.

When you've got a plan I'll post it on the SW Zeds facebook group, there are a few in Wiltshire/Yeovil way on there

    HR radiator

Hello, Car passed it mot on Friday with no advisory’s but the test centre noticed that the radiator is starting to leak. I did have to top the expansion tank up the other day so must have just started. I am after a replacement radiator if anyone has one. Don’t mind it being an original as long as it is in good condition.
