Yeah go for it buddy,I have never regretted buying mine,I bought a 2020 Nismo it's a bit of a garage Queen 3k on the clock
-
Yep i had it in my head £15k due to servicing etc.
-
Oh that's sad ,illness is not good,I don't think it's a bargain at that price. It definitely needs to be rescued maybe offer 18k
-
I think its been neglected due to illness and general life events, the owners are really nice people with a hell of a lot going on in their lives, iv looked a bit deeper and it seems to have a very high tax rate compared with future nismo cars unfortunately.

Hi and welcome from a Nismo owner, omg she's looking very sorry for herself 😭 I think they are great cars what's the story behind it and why has it been left to get like that?
-
First off ,hi, im new here so forgive my lack of knowledge, I hope its OK to ask this , I have a work customer who has offered me for sale their 2016 370z nismo, the car has just over 29000miles , in very dirty condition but to not being used for two years, so basically it needs a very deep clean and serviced, they are offering the car to ne at £20 k , i dont want to insult them but would like to be sure its a fair price, im after a classic type of car for long-term ownership and sunny weekend fun. I understand the 370 is more old school compared with today's motors, I have a gr yaris and a m240i but would enjoy something that won't age ( if ya know what I mean) so really im asking for the forums views on this . Many thanks, and im loving reading up on these cars.
-
Thanks for the welcome pal, I am unable to drive the car. It starts, the revs sit high (around 2k RPM), then within about 20 seconds the revs drop to about 700 RPM while the engine splutters then it cuts out. I am unsure if the speed restrictor has been removed. Forgive my ignorance but is there any way to check other than going that speed haha? I have cleared the codes, and the two that have returned are P0084 and P0078 which relate to the Exhaust Valve Control Solenoids on Bank 1 and 2. Thank you

New Z Owner in need of some help
ZMANALEX replied to Rolls's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
Firstly, to the forum. I am sure that I can help you with this issue, but I require a bit more clarity. How does the car drive on the open road? What do you mean by "idling at 2.5k rpm? Has the 112mph speed restrictor been removed? In the meantime, I would recommend that you delete/clear all the stored DTCs Then I would induce the fault a few times, and then check for any new DTCs and then report back. However there are a few troubles with the car. It is misfiring bad, idling at around 2.5k RPM, then cutting out. -
Hi Zane, First of all thank you for the advice. How would I check if the ECU’s have been swapped? Oil pressure sits at 6 bar at 2k RPM upon start up, before cutting out. Does that seem normal to you? Once again really appreciate the help.

Thank you for the warm welcome Andy.

Did the ECU's get swapped too as they are different - I'd look here first If not that then the symptoms also suggest low oil pressure, how does the oil pressure gauge look? -

Hello everyone, I collected my first 350z recently, a car I have been eager to get for a very long time. However there are a few troubles with the car. It is misfiring bad, idling at around 2.5k RPM, then cutting out. The car is a 2006 import. It has had a non rev-up engine swap at some point. It is showing error codes P1078, P1084, P0078 and P0084. (Which relate to the exhaust vvt solenoids and cam sensors) I can confirm that the previous owner had it running properly with this engine fitted so I don't believe it is a loom issue. As the non rev-up VQ only has VVT on the intake side, any idea as to why these error codes could've popped up and how to resolve? Thank you all in advance, really appreciate any tips or ideas.

How did you get on?

Its not that far out to be fair. but you can only adjust caster with adjustable top arms as far as i know, you just need to reduce the right side by 0.5-0.75 deg and it will be near as, which you will be able to do with adjustable camber arms that also have caster adjustment. If your on stock upper arms your stuck with what you have.

Hello all, Long time no post. The last 2.5 years have been "interesting". To make a long story short, I left Wales and moved up to Yorkshire. It took 18months to sell the house, so the 350z did a lot of mileage going up and down the motorways for months. Then Christmans 2025 I hit some flood water and ripped off the diffuser, rear bumper (bolted to the diffuser), front splitter and passenger side arch liners. Mechanically the car isn't too bad. Needs some TLC but otherwise ok. It has however been parked for the better part of 18 months while I waited for the house situation (followed by just avoiding being made redundent) to settle down. I'm now getting the car back together again. It goes in next week to get some new wheel bareings, ball joints and my old (reconditioned) AC compressor fitted. After that I'll get it off to a body shop to get the rear bumper swapped over, new rear spoiler added and front spillter. Oh, I also hit a brick on the motorway just before the flood water incednet and bent a wheel. So yeah.... interesting. Anyway, some random images attached. Pick of the damage to the rear once I got the car into work New Rota GTR-D's for the rear (have GTR's on the front now) And someone caught me on the M1 on one of my many trips back and forth to Wales. Hopefully, I'll have it back on the road in the summer.

Hi All My 2006 350Z hasn't been handling well so I got a 4-wheel alignment done on a Hunter machine. The Toe and Camber are now spot on but the Caster is off on both sides (L = +8 deg 58', R = + 9 deg 14'). I gather the recommended range for normal road use is + 7 deg 42' and 8 deg 92'. So not only have I got too much Caster but the 0.5 deg left/right split has been exceeded. I'm not sure what to do about it. The car's got Superpro bushes on the upper and lower control arms so unlikely they're worn out. I kerbed the car on the nearside but have never kerbed it on the offside so unlikely I've somehow caused about 9 degrees of damage to both sides! What sort of garage should I take it to? I tried a body shop but they said it's not what they do and the main stealer wants £160 ph + VAT just to investigate. Am in the Farnborough area. Ta

Where is the 370 Roadster's rear window defroster connection and how did you access it?

Got quite a fair lip on them at the minute which is why I am looking at replacing the rotors. Going to go with blue stuff pads and rbf 660 and goodridge lines
-
ZMANALEX started following What discs are you track goers using?
-
In that case, maybe just stick with the rotors that are on the car at present, and marry them up with a good set of pads and fresh RBF 600/ 660 fluid. You can always replace the rotors at a later date.

Hi all, Since I have upgraded my rear anti roll bar to a whiteline one I’ve been hearing a metal rattle underneath occasionally, upon inspection I have realised the exhaust and bar have very minimal space between each other. I have a ISR exhaust Anyone else experienced this and have a fix?
