Got my 350 tray today, really top notch very impressed! However I have encountered a few issues :(

1) Snapped bolt courtesy of the previous owner. This is right at the rear where the tray bolts to the chassis, any advice? https://www.dropbox.com/s/r3t2dao4jjxqthb/snappedBolt.jpg?dl=0

2) Arch liners totally wrecked :( I don't really want to replace them for 50 quid each just as the two holes are torn, what have people tried? https://www.dropbox.com/s/s2z4rj5rhx8qeaf/ArchLiner.jpg?dl=0

3) Not quite sure how the 2 halves join together? There's 4 bolt holes that overlap, the outer ones match the arch liner holes so that makes sense, but the inner two don't line up to anything other than each other, do they just bolt together?

I have similar issues, my solutions are:

1) drill it out and replace with a suitable rivnut.

2) rivet a suitable piece of plastic/metal across the front, to replace the broken bit.

3) can't remember - don't remember it being an issue tbh

How are the top two circled bolts attached? Just with the silver washers? Just wondering if they should go through to the car somehow? Being dumb sorry! Always paranoid part of my car is missing!

Hi Matt

I used an aluminium bracket from an IKEA spice rack that I was "supposed" to be installing in the kitchen :p It measures 35mm x 350mm so you might find a ruler would do the trick if you're unable to find/fashion a similar strip. I used one of the existing bracket holes and then just drilled another in it to align with the existing holes on the tray and wheel arches. I installed the bracket so that the softer plastic wheel arch is sandwiched between the rigid bracket and the rigid tray so that the force is spread across the full area of the wheel arch lip, instead of just the bolting points (which are decayed anyway). Here's a photo of it installed - I've circled where you can see the bracket peeking out from under the tray.

Perfect, that's what I had in mind :) thanks a lot! Sadly it seems I do need new arch liners as I stupidly went for a drive sans undertray and I've lost the front section on one side :( There's a moral for you boys and girls! Hoping to get the replacements fitted and the tray on this weekend. It's shininess is keeping my mood raised!

Slowly getting there! Wheel archer liners replaced, I've built a metal hanger panel to replace the plastic one that fits around my inter cooler hoses, it's nice and solid so everything's safe and tight...

I've now worked out where the central bolts go, sadly what I thought were rusty rivets are the snapped bolts from the previous owner, so I'm guessing I need to drill these out and then I can bolt the centre of the under tray in....

I've screwed the front of the tray in and it fit's perfectly so the cars driveable again just need to sort out the 3 snapped bolts and I'll be sorted. The tray itself is awesome, I've spent just a couple of minutes fitting everything and all lined up perfectly all the issue's I'm having are down to the previous owner snapping off all the bolts and arch liners :(

Hey. Does this under tray hang any lower than stock? My existing one scrapes on a lowered car so if this sits higher then it would be ideal for me

It bolts directly into the same points as the stock, however as it's metal not plastic it wont sag. Worth checking if your existing tray is correctly attached, mine wasn't.

Will do :) I know what I'm doing now thankfully! If I ever find the previous owner I'm going to strangle them! Who fits an oil intercooler and then cable ties the under tray back instead of replacing 3 of the 4 bolts! Hoping to get them out tonight then I can bolt the back section in and It'll be all sorted

Woo finally fitted mine! Last piece of the puzzle was to reroute the washer pipes as the oil cooler installation had meant they were mounted below the screw in points.

I made a little hanger for them..

With that done bolting the tray on took all of 4 minutes!

Some lovely pics of my new shiny part..

Really happy! Can't stress enough that all the issues I've had were down to the mods from previous owners. Any stock car this would have taken literally 15minutes so don't be put off by my adventures!
