my winter wheels have been on a week now :surrender:

I expect your car's looking forward to winter, all nicely tucked up in your garage with its shiny winter wheels on :p

Gritted the roads around my area today

yup same here last night

the BIG question is do you go past a gritter fast or slow ???

go slow - less impact but spend longer in the shower of s***e

or go fast more impact but through quicker

???? pondered this for years

you have no choice sometimes eg. last night - dual carriageway slow moving gritter in the inside lane so either stay behind and get showered by the car in front or overtake, even if you keep a distance you can hear the rear arches being peppered with grit as the tyres flick it up

I've got to say, judging by Tim's car and garage I bet he never leaves the loo seat up and always changes the toilet roll!

The aerial part of that cover is very funny - you'd think you'd just unscrew it and put it in the car!
