Hello!

Back in my 3rd zed!

After selling my last zed just over a year ago I've had;

1989 MK2 VW Jetta with a G60 conversion

MK1 Focus ST170

WRX bugeye Wagon

WRX bugeye saloon

WRX Hawkeye Saloon

BMW E46 330ci

Now back in a Zed again!

Ive done the BGW and bright coloured wheels on my last 2 - and I'm past all that now.

So this one is going to be OEM+ But still doing sub 8m30s 'Ring laps and the odd trackday whilst being a daily driver.

Plans are for the moment;

Front and rear DS2500 brake pads

Front and rear DBA T2 brake discs

Braided lines

Currently on Eagle F1 tyres, will have Toyo R888 for track.

Velocity stack air box intake mod

Plenum spacer

Berk HFC

Stillen Y Pipe

Currently has Powerflow exhaust, may change for miltek.

Remap

Lowered - still doing research in this area for performance vs cost.

Rear half Custom cages roll cage with removable front bars for track days.

Spacers - not a performance mod, just because the wheels are buried in the arches!

That should see me doing sub 8m30s BTG nurburgring times.

Are you saying you've had all those car's over 12 months? :dry::shrug:

Hope you enjoy the Zed and keep it longer than the others then. ;)

  • 1 month later...

After having a trip to the ring this weekend, i know the direction I want to head with this now.

Sub 8m30s BTG time, whilst still being a daily driver.

This will have a time scale of a year before I go back next May!

Not yet, I'm in talks with custom cages at the moment, they're working out costs for the detachable front. As I want it to be a usable daily drive that me and the misses share.

If they can't do the front section I'll just settle for the rear.

Spek to DJTIMO - he's got a rear cage from custom cages done!
