Yes that's what I said im not going to touch the car just a service :)

Cams are a lot of money so that will be it engine wise ( unless I give in to a supercharger )

The car is almost finished now and all the bits I planed to do have been done just a few more bits to fit in the new year .

Alan

Sounds good, any further engine mods planned?

I hope to get a similar result, once I get my finger out and get the headers fitted.

I keep swithering about doing cams as well, typical scope creep for a car that was supposed to stay stock.

Got round to changing all of the headlight lamps at the weekend bit of a pain as you have to remover the inner wing arch liner .

Thought I would upgrade all the lamps .

The main beam ones Philips extreme H7 + 130%

The dipped Xenon ones Philips extreme D2R + 50%

The side light ones are 501 50W CREE

The indicator ones silver vision

Kaveney. Was expecting to see your name down for the Woodman meet in a couple of weeks. See regional meets, south east.

Great idea Alan, you should come down! How are the brakes? Any more feedback after using those for a while? :)

Update time .

I took the car down to Abbey Motorsport to have an MOT and a few other things done .

First up was to have some Hardrace adjustable from camber arms fitted .

WP_20160214_13_40_56_Pro_zpshhxpdihj.jpg

Then another alignment .

001%2011_zpsxjftyxun.jpg

The front compression arms ( banana arms ) were changed last year but were showing signs of cracking again so some Superpro polyurethane were fitted .

WP_20160214_13_40_25_Pro_zpsh3kpa1pp.jpg

Then for the big job .

The car is running dual coilovers front and rear ( not the more common front but separate rear shock spring set up ) and the rear strut / top mount is not designed to take the load of the shock and spring so this needed to be strengthened with seem welding

and a new plate to link the upper and lower section together and 2 braced plated per side fitted along with a good coat of Waxoyl .
