ioneabee Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 the wife and I bought our 1st new car not long after we got married it was a 1996 ford escort - surely its been scrapped by now and the plate is available, but searching on the dvla and other sites its not there any suggestions ? Personally I'd give the DVLA a ring to see if they can help although could it be that somebody has it on retention but just not put it on a vehicle? veilside z Posted April 10, 2015 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Yes DVLA is a good place to start, however if it is still available it would be put into a future auction.
