Any decent APC should shift it, a soft toothbrush might be a good thing to get in there (don't put it back next to your sink though :lol: )

 

If it's been neglected (which it sounds like it) I'd suggest that once you have cleaned, rinsed and dried it, try some gummi pfledge to look after it.

My young Padawan here has all the answers you seek. Except the toothbrush; use the wife's, then you can even put it back afterwards. :teeth:

 

The rubber seals on the Z are easily accessible, so a microfibre cloth might be easier than a brush. I'd also recommend using Gummi Pfledge on rubber after cleaning with APC regardless of it's previous state as it will prevent the APC from drying the rubber out too much.

Thanks for all the help guys i'll give it a go just didnt want to mark the rubber etc lol

 

Just be gentle to start with, you can always go harder (ooo err) or do a test spot if you're worried.
