Up rev remap

Hi

Is there any way of telling if a 350 has an up rev remap, if you have no proof of purchase or idea where the map is meant to have been done previously? Should I just take the sellers word for it?

If it has multimap enabled in UpRev, you should be able to switch maps with the cruise control buttons.

Alternative way to find out is to connect an UpRev cable to it and read if your ECU has UpRev license on it. Where do you live?

Lowestoft suffolk, I havnt got car yet I should be collecting on the weekend, but I didn't know if there is an easy way of telling while I'm on the test drive...

Depends on the model/year.

Post up the advert to the car. Chances are if it's had a remap it's a forum car.

only works on JDM models or models later than 2005/6 (I think) I know the early DE's can't have multiple maps.

The seller won't like it much but if its had an uprev the upper rev limit will be higher than stock.

It's a 2003 Jdm, imported in 2005. Has no cruise buttons on steering wheel, will try and link the ebay add but it has finished on there..

Hi,

 

only real way is to read the ECU this will tell you if the ECU has been programmed

 

If you email us the registration number I can look if we have tuned the car.
