Kerry Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 I changed my pads all round this weekend to ferodo ds2500 pads. The rear pads had the OEM shims on the old pads so I swapped them over but the front pads the shims were missing and dipite using cooper slip on them they still squeak under light breaking so I wanted to find some shims to put on the pads and see if this helps but where would I be able to find just the shims and ideas guys? brillomaster Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 yeah my ferodos used to squeak on the fronts... in my opinion they're quite an aggressive pad for road use, they were better when used firmly and when hot. slow speed gentle braking usually was accompanied by a squeal. have you done a proper bedding in procedure? 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
