secretstar07979
Was there an engine upgrade during 2006? Some 350z I see advertised claim 276 yet others claim almost 300? Is it the GT version that has more power?
SHEZZA
2006 had the Rev up engine. GT refers to spec I.e heated leather seats , Bose sound system , cruise control etc.

KyleR
gt4 has 300bhp 296 actually Anyway, yes, 276bhp up until early 2006 (except for ltd edition GT4 in 2005 with had 296bhp) 2006 facelift cars have 296bhp and 2007-2009 cars have 309 bhp. These are sometimes each referred to as 280, 300 or 313 models which refer to the PS rather than BHP. These model years are not set in stone as sometimes cars are registered late and then if you don't know what you're looking for, you'll end up buying an early model for facelift money. brillomaster
if you can get a photo of the clocks that'll identify the engine - 276/280s had a redline of 6,600rpm, the 309/313s have a redline of 7500rpm, the 296/300 is somewhere in the middle (cant remember the exact number) also 309/313s had a bonnet bulge, and two air intakes.
