well i've had the zed 3 weeks and i love it :notworthy:

replaced the front and rear indicator bulbs with chrome ones - cleans up the look superbly esp. the front

replaced the front sidelights with leds which give a much more modern look and complimet the xenons

fitted a JWT popcharger - envy motorsport

fitted a tonneau cover - bit quieter, need to dynamat now

bluetooth adapter - didnt work with my phone - sent to germany to have it flashed with new software

fitted leds to the rear number plate lights

claybarred and polished with clearkote - vast improvement

fitted bonnet struts - thx to bigphil - cheap n easy fit and looks good

fitted new z badges front and rear - much better then the nissan ones - delsa motorsports

give the engine a good clean (only done 14k so it wasnt too bad)

 i dint realise had done all that til i typed it out :surrender:

next...........

i have a genesis amp which i am looking into replacing the bose one with

i have a pair of focal 165 components which i want to replace the front speakers with

i will get some kicker KS65 speakers for the rear

maybe get out on a meet to get some more ideas B)

i wont/need an updated cd for the sat nav as sometimes "i feel like jesus in a zed" driving on water

if anyone knows where i can find an updated cd please let me know ! nissan want more than the price of a tom tom for one !

cheers

paul

oh yeah a quick Q - does the Z have front fog lights ?

why on a 30k car wasnt the alarm - total closure ? anyone fitted a module to the alarm to close the windows ?

the car felt very clean but the megs claybar and a good polish def made a difference and a good bath

obviously it could be better with a pc but the paint is too anorexic for me to attempt that :scare:

Nice looking car mate - do like those wheels - sets the car off a treat.

Now, enjoy the real reason for buying a ZED - how it goes ;)

I can see why - you are so busy keeping it clean (a man after my own heart) and planning the next mod! :p

That's a well kept Zed. Maybe you could post up in the detailing section some info on how you keep it so clean!

There's a sticky and some other guides in there already ;)

That's about as clean a GM Zed as I've seen. I feel like I've almost reached the limit on how much I can get out of this paint colour. Looks B) GIXXER

As for the sounds, you'll be wanting head unit and sub etc. I assume as well as your current equipment list (which is good stuff).

I just thought we could see how Gixxer cleans his car. I'm always looking for new tricks!

My azure has some work with the PC yet. A weekend appointment in the workshop I think
