Compression arms question.

My n/s compression arm bush is shot which I understand is a common issue. I have managed to source a genuine item for 280 but have seen a pair on ebay for 167. The ones on ebay are advertised as genuine and not Chinese copies and come with a 12 month warranty. Anyone else sourced them from eBay?

I could replace one but would rather do both sides at once. The knocking is bad over bumps at low speed but due to work commitment s I can't get it done until next month. Hopefully I won't do much damage.

If its just the bush that's gone these can be replaced with a number of options.

 

At £168 for a pair they won't be genuine Nissan

Bush looks like it's pressed in from factory. Can they be removed with a standard press. What option would you recommend?

Yes mate they can be, we do OEM Nissan for £29.99 each which include fitting instructions, Whiteline push in fit for £69 for the pair or Superpro ones at £145 for the pair which are a press fit and give increased castor.

The ones from Ebay can't be guaranteed ... steer clear ... wait till next month and do the job once and properly

had to replace my split compression arm bushes - nissan only supply/fit the complete arms so purchased couple of oem nissan bushes from clark ms and had them fitted at local nissan for, iirc, around £100

 

total - around £160
