MOT advisories

Hi Guys,

 

I would appreciate some advice. i just bought my lovely new Z and I noticed on the latest MOT certifcate 2 advisories that don't seem important to me but I am no Z expert as this is my first Z.

 

The advisories are:

- Circle within zone "A"

- Under-Trays + Engine covers fitted

 

What do they actually mean?

Is there something I should be worried about?

Chip in the windscreen and aftermarket mods?

 

Or does it mean the trays and covers are missing?

1st one means you have a chip in the windscreen.

 

2nd one means you have the OEM trays fitted underneath, so the MOT tester can't check for everything. It's a standard get-out clause they use. Really funny on an Elise, where everything is covered underneath by trays!

Thanks guys. The dealer told me about the chip and it was fixed but was worried about the trays as they never appeared on previous MOTs. Nothing to worry about is the thing I wanted to hear

Think another one you can see is "engine cover fitted"

My MOT before last had - engine covers and non standard tyres fitted as advisories

 

Ar$e covering at it's finest
