Roadster roof

Hi, just joined here. In desperate need of a roof for 350z 2005. Does anyone know if a roof from a 2009 model ill be the same and fit without any problems.

The 350Z Roadster roofs are all interchangeable.

Sh!t, how much is one of those? I'm dreading the day mine needs replacing.

 

Do you get after market ones like you do on MX5s?

if you need a replacement hood only, you could try sending a PM to Nictry on this forum.

 

He found a great supplier in Swansea who did a replacement mohair roof at a very competitive cost. Search > replacement roof in forums.

 

There were also some favourable posts for car hoods4u.

Interested to learn how you get on. My 2005 is developing splits close to body behind windows. As I don't have a garage, I have to shut roof every night and so with this pretty good summer it has been up and down like the proverbial yo - yo. I am planning to take it to a chap to see if he can repair it. Have you tried that ? One car hood specialist was quoting £500+ that excluded fitting.
