The advise i want from you guys is that the exhaust system looks pretty knackered now.some sections better than others.what do you recommend.im no mechanic but hope someone on here can give me a bit of guidance.

Cheers.

Bryn, is it just surface corrosion as the OEM system does cake up with corrosion, every 370z that we've seen has the same issue eventually... :)

Hi.havent taken the car on a ramp just had a look underneath.yes some surface rust but mainly the issues ive got are were the bolt together are corroded.what do you think.bryn

Im a huge fan of the stillen, its a lovely quality note. The invidia gemini is another good exhaust.

You tube will only give you half the story, i recommend you go along to one of the local meets and hear some of the cars in person.

Where abouts are you based? A few of us will be up in North wales in a couple of weeks and you could get a listen.

Welcome along.

Another vote for Stillen. You've bought a sports nice car. Spend a bit extra on making it sound like a sports car.

Welcome aboard Bryn. :welcome:

I've got a 350Z myself but as sipar said it's worth spending the money on these cars to bring out the V6 engine note nicely.

Got an Invidia Gemini on my 350Z and it sounds great. A good exhaust system can make the car so much better fun to drive. ;)

Do I go for a cat back exhaust and leave the cats.had a look today they seem fine just the cover guards a bit corroded.

Depends ~ are you after a lot more noise and a bit more power too?

Ultimately you won't see any power increase without a remap though.

Personally I went for HFC's (High Flow CAT's) on my 350 as I wanted extra noise plus performance benefits. My Zed though is over ten years old which of course yours is not.

Hopefully some 370 owners will be able to advise you to what they've done on their Zeds. ;)
