AliveBoy Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) Hi All, So I'm going to be spraying a part myself, and I'll be using the Paints4U kit of pre mixed WV2 in a hope to get the car looking smart(er), but I don't know how many 400ml cans I'll need to do a spoiler (quite a bit larger than the OEM lip spoiler), would you say 2 cans is enough? They supply primer etc, but I want a half decent job done. I know 90% of it is in the preparation, so I'll spend a couple of days on that. Thanks, Matt Edit: more info Edited September 10, 2014 by AliveBoy Quote
Ricey Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 You'll always see a rattle can job mate but you can have a crack. 2 cans of base will be enough. Quote
hensh65 Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Think it depends on how good you are with a spray can. I tend to put the layers on a bit heavy at first because I am rotten and end up have to sand them back. I don't think you will be far off with 2 cans. What spoiler is it though? Quote
AliveBoy Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 Oh don't worry ricey, I'm not after a pro job it's a drift car after all, I just want it vaguely the same colour as the car The spoiler is a secret for now Quote

Good luck! Quote
GMballistic Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I always buy more paint than I need, ...doesn't hurt to have a can sitting around just in case. Quote
