Steering Wheel

Hi Guys,

I am after a new aftermarket steering wheel. I currently run a Suede deep dish OMP rep will seems strong and suitable although I would like the real thing. The one complaint that I do have with suede is that it ends up filthy and requires a wash every so often. However I do like the look and feel despite its durability.

Has anybody changed from suede to leather if so what are their thoughts and are there any other suggestions as to what wheel to go for? £150 budget.

Thanks

Yes GM I know a quite a few that have owned the Jet and loved it. It's a nice looking steering wheel but I can't imagine it in the cockpit after running a deep dish, it looks so flat lol!

I have been tempted by the Nardi Deep Corn although it seems like a design that would feature within a classic/classy car....something traditional.

The Personal Neo Grinta is rather nice, although again would take some getting used to aesthetically.

Cheers Desey I will have a look into polyurethane :)

Seen some nice OMP made deep dish wheels before. :)

Is this the sort of thing you're after?...

Yes I currently have a replica OMP that I am getting shot of and will end up buying a legit OMP as pictured above if I cannot find something else. Don't get me wrong I love them, the issue being how common they are. Generally if you ask somebody to name a deep dish they will mention OMP. Fancied a change, but similar design hence the Nardi Deep Corn.
