On the test drive (I kept Traction control on), I was giving no inclination of wanting to oversteer on a wet roundabout. Quite the opposite infact, it seemed to want to understeer. I couldn't get the back end out at all.

However, I was driving the car for the first time, and on a test run with TC on..... I dare say once I get to know the car I'll work it out.

Good luck with the M135i, though I wouldn't hold your breath about it been more reliable than the 370Z.

As soon as I've fixed one problem with my 335i another appears, currently leaking oil (again)...and we're in Belgium for Spa. When it's working it's a great car, but now am very tempted to traded it in for something that doesn't break every 2 weeks. Golf R looks like a half decent idea.

that's a good start! if you're still having handling issues get the alignment modified for less front toe in, or put more front tyre width on - most bmws with staggered wheel widths are set to understeer out the factory for safety.
