Recently had a rust job done on the offside rear wing which involved respraying the full panel, just been to fuel the car and found they haven't reconnected the plastic cord that attaches the fuel cap. Looks an easy job to clip it in but can't see anywhere obvious where it locates. Advice would be appreciated, have already tried the search feature but to no avail

I have a sneaky feeling they may have cut the cord, hope I'm wrong. I'm sure the last time someone wanted to replace just the cord you had to buy the full unit.

Thanks for the prompt replies guys. Thankfully the cord is fully intact but strangely there's no locating hole as in the photo just one hole to locate the screw for the main assembly, plus there's no sign that anything's been sheared off, confused now

problem solved, secured it under the main assembly screw, it does the job but its definitely not the way it was located previously as the cord had a retaining plug on it

It may have snapped the cord as that does happen unfortunately. If it hasn't then it should connect up like the below pic..

GM Where did you get the cap with the 350Z logo on. Mine doesn't have it.
