Commander Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Just done mine this evening... And the disks... Dead easy and you don't need many tools - axle stand, breaker bar, 22mm socket, 10mm spanner, some pliars, job done! Edited July 10, 2014 by Commander Quote
Zhorno Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 I'll give it a go on the weekend then 👠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

richmillions Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Just done this myself, breaker bar (or impact wrench) is a must (if removing calipar), alot of effort and expletives otherwise!! Edited July 10, 2014 by richmillions Quote
Zhorno Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 I have both 👠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
GMballistic Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Also imo will need some copper grease for the back of the pads/shims. Quote
david85williams Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 A pad spreader tool is also very handy! Quote
Asad Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 (edited) Give it a go mate it's it's not as hard as it looks or seems. We did our car aswell. Edited July 11, 2014 by Asad Quote
Daryl Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Just take your time, and its easy. Id suggest getting a scotchbrite pad and just rubbing the securing pins that run across the caliper and putting a smear of copper slip on them, makes life alot easier in the future. Its something that once you have done it once, should take no more than an hour to do both sides from start to finish. Quote
Zhorno Posted July 11, 2014 Author Posted July 11, 2014 I'll give it a go , a guy across the road from me is a mechanic so if I fail he can sort it out lol, iv watched him everytime but never wanted to do it myself lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Jp606 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 It's so easy, especially the Brembos, they are a joy to work on. Quote
Commander Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Did my rears tonight - when you can't get the calliper bolts off cos your breaker bar is too long, get a jack under the suspension 'cup' and jack up the whole lot a few inches which will give you enough room to crack the bolts off. Quote
Jp606 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 ^ he said he's only doing pads so won't need to take the calliper off. Quote
