I like the idea but can help but laugh at the marketing blurb

 

From that website...

 

"Now you can experience the full potential of your 350Z on the street, strip or track."

 

followed later by...

 

" The Smooth Line Hardtop only weighs approximately 35-40 lbs and is easy to handle"

 

So feel the full potential by making your car heavier

 

 

This next line would stop any potential purchase..

 

"The Smooth Line 350Z removable Hardtop accentuates the low silhouette of the Z with an extended roof line for a “Bad Boy†attitude "

I think the red painted one looks ok and as for being weird have you seen some of the cars on this forum?

 

I agree the marketing blurb is pathetic, but it's the same for a lot of American made aftermarket parts. I can only imagine what they write about wide arch body kits and BGW's.

 

Many convertibles have a factory hard top available. It's a shame nissan didn't make one.
