coldel Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Doesnt float my boat sorry. Bodykit looks a different shade to the rest of the car (or maybe its the light?). Auto box...hmmm. No GT features. Seems like you are paying for the miles and little else? Quote
RS8055 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Nice looking, but for the price, there's no way I'd take an automatic.... EVER. 1 Quote
coldel Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Just seems like a lot of money for an auto with a dodgy body kit spray job mate and non of the extras. You can get a non import, manual, GT, newer car for that money. Quote
AliveBoy Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Love the nismo kit and alloys, arch extensions, headlights, the bonnet and the hr engine, I'd take those bits, but keep the rest of mine Quote
Lexx Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 This is not a Nismo edition. I don't care what the seller tells you. The genuine Nismo edition was only available with a manual box. But more to the point.....it was LHD only. Quote
Almeida1234 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 It is not genuine, but aftermarket kit fitted Quote
Lexx Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 is it genuine? either way.. love it See my post above yours.... Quote
Pete87 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I love it I was very tempted to sell mine and get this one but desided to keep mine in the end couldn't warrent an extra 6k for it. Quote

Its hard to tell from that engine bay pic, but should have 2 air intakes, one each side of the radiator. Looks like a very low spec car, no leather, no cruise, no bose, basically just a normal spec version which someone has had the seats redone. Bodykit is very marmite, you either like it or hate it. I think , that back bumper looks shocking! Quote

Lexx Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Doesn't make a difference really for looking at it. It clearly doesn't have a DE plenum and the HR engine cover wouldn't go over a DE engine. It's still not a genuine Nismo Edition though. Quote

I notice though that it has what looks like some small strut brace thing bolted to the tops of the air filter housings. My HR didnt have that and looking online it seems some of the Nismo ones did have that. What is it?! Quote
coldel Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I think the answer is, don't buy it, unless of course you really want it then by all means go ahead Quote
TomZ Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Thanks guys, I like the styling, but I've decided to leave it. Quote
oVerboost Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I've bought a Boxster S from Castle Motors before, and they are local to me... They do sell good stuff. I know that it doesn't matter now as you've decided against it, but just in case... Quote
TomZ Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Thanks mate, I've also heard good things. If it was manual, I'd have bought it. 1 Quote
