Is a pre face lift headlight the same as a facelift headlight ?

No they are different facelift are HIDs.

You already asked this in a previous thread and you were told the answer. Whilst they are the same shape, the internals and wiring are different.

Right found some kinda cheap from use am I correct in thinking they won't work tho becuase the light will shine to high 1 side and to low the other side ?

American ones are no good for RHD vehicles for the reason you stated (sort of).

BTW, Despite the facelift lights being different to the prefacelift lights it is possible to fit them onto a 276 Zed. I've not done this myself so I don't know what it involves but there are a few here who've done it.
