cs2000 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 You don't had to cut them open. You can use a screwdriver and some plairs. Use the screwdriver to pop the metal band away from the main shaft, the just keep pulling and twisting and the clip will seperate from the body of the piston. Once the clip is removed, a light tap will move the piston off of its bolt. Quote

thedon Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 You shouldn't need to be brutal - both top and bottom brackets unscrew. You may find the top one is tight - I used an adjustable spanner which did the trick. Good luck. 1 Quote
