Grundy Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Someone posted that on FB - After a day or so, they got dirty.... Quote
Spatt Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Yeh... I used to paint mine before I put them on in the summer. Took me ages, after a week tho and after some tyre shine. .... yellow and cracked Quote
Briggsybriggs1 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Just got one from eBay a White One for 99p and will be putting it on my toyo prox low profiles vas I only use the car as a toy so can keep it out off the dirt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited May 3, 2014 by Briggsybriggs1 Quote
Spatt Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 When you do it I found it better to remove the wheel and ly it flat... dab the pen to get the unk flowing and then push the fluid into the edges. The raised lip around the lettering helps keep the 'pool' from over flowing. Hope it works out should look awesome 1 Quote
LordSQra Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 I've already received mine two yellow ones, just need some time to do it or I might wait and do it after I sort out that nasty curb rash on the alloys. Once it is done I am going to post pictures, week after week and I hope it will last longer than 2 days before getting dirty lol . 1 Quote
BulletMagnet Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Personally, I think it looks better when you paint with a stencil and cover the whole height if the sidewall rather than filling out the letters. RWB Style 2 Quote
Ceejay29 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I think it looks good just haven't gathered the courage to try it out yet I'm going to give this a go when I get the wheels refurbed. I like it, could be a pain to maintain though 1 Quote
Ceejay29 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Looks stunning on the first pic, not so sure on the second I agree, think it suits black wheels and helps to differentiate between the low profile tyre and wheel from a distance. 1 Quote
