I have a Scorpion non resonated, and love it, though apparently it is loud when cold, or when giving a bootful. Never had any issues with drone or anything like that. However, i know someone who had a resonated Cobra, and it sounded very good, not much quiter than mine under load, but probably quiter when on the move. Depends what style of tips you want too, personally l like the look of mine, as i think it looks more aggresive, and follows the line of the back bumper.

Scorpion only comes with one sound option, I'd say Scorpion, Resonated Cobra and Non Resonated Cobra in order of quietest to loudest... :)

Cheers CS! i cant decide out of the scorpion and the resonated cobra.. both sound great!

I have the scorpion on mine, and its an okay sound, but in my opinion not loud enough. I like my car to sound like a 3.5 V6. Which the scorpion doesn't do justice to IMO. At idle it sounds like a ford focus!

Under acceleration a lot better. As you said YouTube doesn't give a good idea how these sound, I have decided to go to some meets before changing.

The cobra IMO gives a deeper louder note from it's 3" bore as compared to the scorpion's 2.5", plus I love how the cobra mid pipe enters the centre of the back box. Pretty sure the scorpion is like the standard setup coming in from the side of the box.

Probably in my head but the Cobra's symmetrical back box seems better, I can imagine the gas flow in the box to be more evenly sided
