Immobilser ?

Hi,

 

Wondering if anyone knows if you can get a immobiliser fob made as I only have one for my import zed - if I lose it I'm screwed? 😄

Or do you have to buy a whole new immobiliser ?

Must be aftermarket, post a pic of the fob, someone may recognise it then contact the manufacturer

 

Otherwise you will have to hunt the unit down and checkout the maker, unless there is a name on the fob ?

yeah pics, I got a clifford one off ebay but just the case, you can by most fobs and program I would imagine.

from my know knowledge it's standard - sterling brand.

 

Anyone know where I can get a spare fob programmed as I nearly lost this the other day? 😱

Any good Car Audio & Alarm shop who sell Sterling should be able to program it. Google your friend.

That is not a standard Part of UK car. If you google sterling alarms there is a wealth of information to be found about the company and I'm sure they'd be able to help you out.

Not 100% sure but thought I'd read before that Sterling branded alarms where part of Toad Alarms?!

 

Just had a quick search on google and have found you the remote fob you need; http://hornetcaralarms.co.uk/sterling-remotes.html
