Fluke Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 Whilst my 350z was in for it's MOT, I noticed that my rear subframe/brace looked heavily corroded. Before I put up a wanted ad and spend money on powder coating, can anyone tell me how hard it is to replace it? Is it possible to do it on a drive way? Mine had two hairline fractures in it, you can source a brand new one from ZMANALEX, but it involves dropping the rear diff out and a lot of suspension work so a garage might be your best bet. I'd probably recommend soda blasting if possible as it's less abrasive and will damage the part less.
