Y23DRH Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 What sort of power increse will you get from these ?
simon da silva Posted November 6, 2013 Author Posted November 6, 2013 20-30hp estimated.. you dont need a tune to run these but its recommended to gain the full potential of the cams
friendy Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 I am no mechanic, how long and easy would these to fit for a mechanic? Might be bullying a mate into fitting them.
simon da silva Posted November 6, 2013 Author Posted November 6, 2013 its not a very easy task, so i would deffently have the car sent to a mechanic. You will need to remove the timing chain etc, to replace the cams. plus some other stuff from the engine. i belive the workshop manual has it set to 4-6 hour job for a mechanic..

simon da silva Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Nobody building an awesome machine this winther?
Arran Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Id love them but having just spent xxxx on manifolds, clutch and flywheel, oil cooler and rocker covers. If they are still about in a couple months id be interested, highly doubt they would be though
Paddy78 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Arran, arent you supercharged? I thought these cams (11.1.1) were for NA only? Obviously if you're not charged, then irrelevant.
Arran Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 No not supercharged me, big job this would be though bigger than the manifolds that went on yesterday
simon da silva Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 You can use the Cams for both NA and FI, no biggy..
lewisdavid_ Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 any idea when my sub build will be coming?
