Boot Closing

Hi,

 

When I open the boot, it no longer stays up.

Very nearly wiped me out the other day. -= funny and not !!!

 

Can someone point me in the right direction for the fix please.

new struts, re gas your struts and or remove the weight in the boot lid. There is a guide in the guides section on how to remove it

Think your struts need replacing. I know a few people on here have used a company that makes copies rather than spending hundreds for ones from nissan.

when i fitted the nismo spoiler i had the same problem. it takes 2 mins start to finish to remove the boot weight :thums:

Try removing the weight first, it will give you a few extra months life from the struts and is free

Had the same problem (only in the cold though), removing the weight helps a lot so another vote for that

That's them SGS ones I have just fitted them problem solved Get the uprated ones.
