How are people hiding the wire? I'd probably just run it up the side of rg door and round the bottom of the window. Would be interested to see it installed.

I think he was after "where" to route the cable in a 350Z, rather than a Range Rover

 

Run it up the right hand side of the dash from the OBD port.

 

and then you can decide where to position it on the dash.

Judging by other photos / films on the World Wide Encyclopaedia Britannica it looks like you have to have to stick a piece of darkened film to the inside of your windscreen (permanently) to see this thing in daylight? Might be annoying?

Has anyone worked out how to change the power off mode? The way mine came has it turn off with the ignition but then about 5 seconds later it comes back on. I tried following the instructions provided but they seem to have been translated by a non-english speaker so they don't 100% make sense at times.
